Sending money from Brazil to US

Does anyone have any info or recommendations about the best and/or most economical way to send money from Brazil to the US? Has anyone out there done that? (Yeah, I know, it's usually in the other direction.)

 

What are the relative pros and cons of sending by

-- bank wire transfer

-- Western Union

-- the Brazil-oriented travel, package, etc. services that also offer to transfer money

-- some other method?

 

Any info or experience that you could share would be appreciated.

Thanks Ax, but I think you are referring to the thread about sending money from the US to Brazil. I'm asking about going in the other direction, and didn't find anything about that.
