Hotels in D.R.

I was hoping to go to Santo Domingo in February. I am planning to bring an escort I have been with a few times in the States with me as company. I had a couple of questions regarding hotel etiquette. I am thinking of staying at the Sofitel Nicolas hotel. Will there be a problem if we are staying together in one room as far as service or staff attitude? Also, if we decide to have a local guy join us in our room for some fun, will there be a problem from the management. Thanks and any info you can give is appreciated.

I just went to it the other day when I responded to a query at another forum. I also sent an acquaintance of mine from England who I met in Rio recently the same information. But remember: Santo Domingo is NO Rio or Sao Paulo or other Brasilian cities which have saunas that have guys for "pay.!"
