CARNAVAL, 2006

Three years ago a good friend of mine (at the time) and I went to Carnaval 2003. Today I still relive those wonderful and highly exciting experiences and do hope that during this year (2006) that those members here who manage to imbibe in these festivities in Rio will post, post, post.

 

After I returned from my 2weeks, Robbguy and I did post our experiences while at Carnaval as well as that omnipresent memorable day and night while we were on the gay cruise which was comprised of international clients, the hunkiest guys from Apollus (a now defunct gay escort venue in Rio)and rentboy.com. I will forever remember this time and contine basking in the long afterglows!

Lucky, to what "friendship" are you alluding? And as soon as I get back into the time zone in which I find myself: PST, I'll recount/continue writing about my month's Thailand trip... Thanks for asking! Axiom :-)

Lucky, I must apologize for not reading your first response closely.

The friend to whom I alluded was an American who lived in my community and an individual with whom I've shared innumerable experiences for almost 30+ years.

 

Apparently, we are NO LONGER friends: when I returned from Santo Domingo a year or so ago, his ringing me almost daily (at points) and his and my doing things together (non sexually) became less and less until a complete demise.

 

Because of his abrupt breakoff-- I question the friendship, the time, etc..... I am over him now! If it were his choice to give up on all of his "friends" in the area-- so be it! I think it is his loss, not ours!
