So many of us have developed a passion for Rio, over and above the garoto/sexual stuff that might have first brought us to this part of the message boards. There is a whole lot more going on down there. Why do we even pay attention to those posters who have nothing concrete to contribute to discussion. Simply spew sewage. Diatribes of hatred. The continual rant of "sexual tourist" When will it be time to ignore these people who feel that any valid discussion should include terrible, insulting comments about ourselves and little else? When in Brasil, I almost always can feel this warm, pleasant vibe that runs in the city among the Cariocas, escaping the awful divisiveness that exists in this country. A shame that it cannot exist on this board as well. Que pena.

I could not agree with you more! Perhaps the most recent bashers deliberately ignored the rules before entering and just went right ahead and continued on the same path that existed before the entire board was down for almost 2 or more weeks!
