I know some of the "regulars" have been in Salvador recently. With luck, they'll post about their experiences. You may have to be patient, though. This weekend is Carnival and visitors have more on their minds than M4M!

If nobody responds, you'll have to fall back on the usual resources: the FAQ, the review of Brazilian Saunas (in the Escort Reviews section), and the "search" function WITHIN the Escorts South board. (Search for "Salvador" and "Bahia.") That should dredge up all the information that's been posted.

Happy trails. . .

i was in salvador a couple of weeks ago. i can recommend 2 places. Club Queens, near Praca Pidade, is a standard gay video store. the second level has 2 computers (free use) and 2 cabines with movies(also free), 3rd level a video and dark room. reis$10 with a 24hr in and out option. cine astor, one block from elevador lacerda, is active most days. have fun.:+

hi, i was in salvador last week for a day ( work on a cruise ship) and i spent the afternoon in Sauna Rios - R.Almeida Sande 8 open from 3.pm til 6am-nice place-but no sign in front- residential area -just wooden door with the house number. i was walking by a contstruction site nearby and a guy shouted out "sauna?" i nodded and he led me down the block to the place and rang the bell for me- of course he wanted a tip, but was worth it to find the place. mixed with clients - some young and good looking and very cute rentboys. only problem is that there are only a few rooms the boys can use- rest reserved for clients,so sometimes you have to wait a little while - but kissing a cute brasilien boy at the bar is a good way to while away the time. has a bar, pool, 2 saunas video room, darkroom.i had a great time! have fun.

When I was in Barcelona last november, I met an incredible "garoto" from Salvador. He told me that he would go back middle of january. We were speaking only portuguese, I guess he cannot speak english or very little.

I shall travel to Salvador in a month from now, spend about 3 weeks, then come back and later (probably may 15) go again for 3 months.

I reckon he will be there when I am there.
