About 15 of us ended up at the Marriott this afternoon. The hotel seated us in a smaller dining area to the side of the main dining area, and at 3:00 in the afternoon we had it all to ourselves. Even though it wasn't the full Thanksgiving buffet (which the hotel had moved up to 6:00 p.m. this year) they brought out turkey and offered pumpkin pie for dessert to those who requested it. All this for their standard lunch buffet price of R$50, in elegant surroundings with a view over Copacabana beach and excellent, attentive service from a bunch of attractive, English-speaking waiters. I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as I did -- it was nice meeting everyone (even if we ended up doing less table-hopping than I expected). But I think the smaller round tables were a great idea, because we could have real conversations instead of trying to yell at each other down a long table.

There was much to be thankful for this year, including celebrating a year together with my BF, the beauty of the city, and the inexhaustible kindness and sweetness of the Brazilian people.

Yes, indeed, Tri-- there is much for all of us M4Mers can be thankful: one being that we are reasonably healthy and have the money to use to vacation whenever and wherever, but in this case in particular-- Brasil.

And we can owe it to you after posting your long review some three or four years ago. (My have I been coming to Hooboy's and male4malescorts for that long?)

Thanks for posting about the gathering; if I had been fortunate enough to have been in RIo, I definitely would have joined you! Continue to enjoy the beautiful weather which prevails for all of you! We're in the 60s in Monterey; it's sunny, but I prefer more heat! :-) Axiom2001 :-)
