Roger's reopened today for a "private" opening

After many broken promises to reopen since last year, Roger's finally opened today for a few customers. Beginning Friday, (tomorrow) Roger's will officially open to the public.

 

The facilities are newly renovated and are attractive. However, the facilities are tiny and are not well organized. For example, the lockers for the guys and the clients are in the same small and crowded location. Moreover, most of the lockers are tiny.

 

The sauna guys supposedly will be those who presently work at 202 and/or estacao and other saunas.

 

Considering that the saunas have very few clients at this time of year, I believe that the current timing for Roger's reopening is not good.

 

Despite the sparse amount of client's presently in Rio, I hope that Roger's reopening will be a success. Time, of course, will tell.

 

I thought that those who visit Rio would like to know this information. Cheers

wow, and I thought I'd was the 1st poster that went in. I was there last night too and the entry is 25, cabins 25 also. the place looks really nice, basically same layout as before but ceramic tile everywhere, floors, walls.

 

They didn't have any coke light or Bacardi...imagine a bar without Barcardi? I had to teach them the economics of getting coke light so he sent someone to the store to buy some, only after did I realize they didn't have the Bacardi, but I guess they didn't want to spend that much money because they didn't have any Bacardi the whole time I was there.

 

Junior (from point) showed up to look around and I don't think he seems too concerned with the competition, as before only a few boys.

I'm glad that Rogers is giving it a go again! I went there on my first and second visits to RIo and liked the place in spite of its state of decay; that is where I met the fabulous Lucas (whose photo graces the RioTravel yahoo group's site). In February of 2003, during the height of Carnaval, Rogers didn't have too many escorts or clients. I hope it fares better this time around in its newer or renovated digs. :-)

I visited the website. Be careful not to go there on a Monday, "Segundas". The schedule says "womem for women".

Guys, I went to Roger's tonight with another M4M. We had met the owner last night at Corujinhas, Florida Robb told him if he wanted to get Americans there, he better get me to check it out as I was the biggest slut in Rio and I would let the Americans know through this site whether or not to go!! LOL

The owner told us what great, new, clean facilities he had, etc., etc., I told him he could have the Taj Mahal there, but if he didn't have hot boys there, no one would come!!

Well we went tonight and I was impressed with the layout and facilities. It is smaller and more intimate(if that is an appropiate term to use for a rentboy suana)then 117 or Pointe. Given it's location it is so easy to check it out and then go to Pointe or Estacau, right now of the 5 saunas, Estacau is the weekest in terms of quantity and quality of boys. There were about 18 - 20 boys at Rogers tonight, not bad for the third night of operation. I liked it! Lot's of new faces and some very hot guys!

Prior to going there we went to SPA73 and had a good time, about 20 guys there at 6:00pm.

Friday night we went to 117 and by 7:00pm there were about 30+ guys there.

Weather is great, warm days and cool nights
