I was troubled reading the *lukewarm* review of Eduardo yesterday.

We are all different and have different tastes as well as different impacts on those we meet. Although the reviewer is the owner of this site, I felt I wanted to give a few remarks about my time with Eduardo while I was in RIO last Oct.

 

Many have already seen the posts in my journal in this forum about my birthday night with Eduardo and Alex. When I said they both promised and gave me a *special evening*, I meant it. Since I was never alone with Eduardo exclusively, I cannot say if his treatment of me would have been different, but I will say that he didn't hesitate to *perform* the acts I was hoping for and I would engage him again sexually without the least concern.

 

As a guide and interpreter, he is perfect, but the reviewer indicated that. His smile and manner are courteous and pleasant, always professional.

 

That is just my take and I in no way mean to refute the reviewer's own experience. I simply add my view for balance and fairness.

I believe money is often the root of trouble in relationships and completely agree with Hooboy when he advises this be settled upfront and not left to interpretation. I employed the services of Eduardo throughout the daytime and evening for approximately one week last May. The services were strictly as an interpreter and guide. I found Eduardo to be an excellent interpreter especially with the sauna guys. (He enjoyed their company almost as much as I did). As a guide Eduardo was not as skilled. For example, he was somewhat timid about venturing on the metro for the zoo and Museo National. He had also never been to the museum of modern art in Rio but I knew the map location and together we had no trouble finding it. It was fun to help Eduardo learn more about Rio (his recently adopted city) and he greatly assisted me in communication. The money was settled up every evening. I took Eduardo to a shopping mall once. He was definitely not extravagant in his choice of a pair on beach shoes and delighted in showing his friends the brightly colored shoes he had selected. At the end of the trip I tipped Eduardo and have kept in touch with him via e-mail since my return to the states. I will be traveling to Sao Paulo on March 5th and on the 10th I arrive in Rio. I anticipate seeing Eduardo daily during my six days there. I highly recommend Eduardo as a translater and collaberative guide.

jackhammer, why not write a review? All opinions are important, especially if your experience was different.

 

Posting your opinion here will reach the relatively small number of people that frequent the message center. The reviews are seen by far more people, and if you want to "add <your> view for balance and fairness" you will be doing it much better by making your opinion known more publicly.

I, too, was going to suggest to Jackhammer to write a review of Eduardo. His would add balance to what is already present.

 

Although I met Eduardo and did not engage his services, I found him to be a charming and personable young man. As for as his reluctance to travel to various places in Rio, a while back (And this is in the archives.), Tri wrote that Eduardo was not from Rio at that time and was not as familiar with places to go as a native carioca; his expertise lies in assisting one at the sauna more so than venues beyond. I received the information from a very, very reliable source, a Brasilian travel agent. And I do not say this as a put down; I merely write it as a point of information. But, let us presume by now that by his guiding others to facets of culture, he's familiar with what is available for all of you M4Mers to enjoy and experience while in Rio.:-)

Writing reviews

 

I have not written reviews on any of the men I engaged while in RIO. I don't know that I have any reason for that other than I had already spent so much time writing the journal entries that I didn't want to write anymore.

 

While I understand the visibility of written reviews vs. postings in the MC, I feel comfortable stating the gist of my experience with Eduardo above. After all, I said everything that needed to be said.

 

In my opinion, anyone who goes to Brazil without checking this forum and relying exclusively on the escorts reviews will be missing the essence of how things in Brazil work. You certainly can't compare how escorts are booked in Brazil with how engagements are set most everywhere else. At least in my limited experience.

 

Having said all of that, People can decide what they like about why I won't post reviews. The fact is, I wrote a great deal in my journals and if the salacious details are lacking, oh well..
