At Corujinha last night, Eduardo reported that after having received a number of complaints from clients, Point 202 has reconsidered it's policy of renting cabines for 40-minute periods and that from now on the rental period will be 60 minutes.

On the agency front, Alex is returning to manage Apollus, at least for the upcoming Brazilian summer. (He'll decide if he's going to continue after he sees how the summer goes.) His phone number is already on the website, if you want to contact him -- it's the one with the (21) area code in Rio. Alex speaks English and several other languages, so it'll now be easier for you to make arrangements. Alex is busy recruiting a bunch of new Rio escorts for the agency to beef up their offerings here, and the site will be redesigned soon for easier use. So check it out at http://www.agapollus.com

No definitive word yet on the Roger's re-opening, but I assume they're feverishly trying to get things ready by Xmas so they'll be back in business in time for the pre-New Year's opening of the main tourist season. As soon as I hear anything, I'll post it.

Alex has finally uploaded the new and revised Apollus site, at http://www.agapollus.com.br Check it out! Two of my favorite guys, Carlão and Emerson, have signed up with Alex (under their Apollus names of Paulão and Eduardo). Since neither of them speaks much English, this will be a much easier way for guys to hook up with them, if you find them interesting. Quite different types, as you can see, but both very well hung, honest and reliable, not to mention nice guys!

Still no definitve word on the Roger's opening.

If you're in Rio through January, be sure to take in the stunning exhibit of homoerotic photographs by Alair Gomes on the top floor at MAM (the Museum of Modern Art). Superb work, beautifully done and very sensual, rather than overtly sexual. There's also a great exhibit of African art (from the collections of the Berlin museums) at the Central Cultural do Banco do Brasil (CCBB) and another fine photography exhibit at the adjoining Casa França-Brasil. And that only scratches the surface of what's going on! There's much more to Rio than just men! So between romps, check out the city's vital cultural scene!

When I was in RIo in October for eleven days, I took in the first two exhibitions which Tri mentioned in the preceding post; neither is to be missed. The African exhibit was indeed magnificent.

On the day that I saw the aforementioned exhibit, my trip began with a ferry trip to Niteroi (with my very cute carioca English-speaking guide) to see the museum that was designed by Niemeyer and to take in the small exhibition. If you're interested in architecture, I'd highly recommend going there. From there we returned to RIo to enjoy the great f... at the Cafe C... in downtown Rio. Then we ventured to the Brasilian-African exhibit. It was a great day. If I were you, I'd end my day with a hot romp "in the hay" and carry it on until Sunday.

That was good news to read. However,

Eduardo's promise to Tri is not being

practiced at 202. Yesterday, after a

great prolonged session, I was told in

no uncertain terms by the handsome guy

at the front desk that 40 minutes is

the rental period for a cabine. I was

also reminded that this policy is now

posted in large letters on the inside

door of every cabine, as indeed it is.

Eduardo and/or his staff seem to have

forgotten about the policy change.

Also, 202 still uses the awful, eye-

damaging strobe lights pointed directly

at the audience during the stage "shows."

Happily, 117 is open again today after

its two-day Christmas break and I'll not

have to go to 202 again this trip! :p

Any news on Roger's re-opening? They were advertising that they planned to re-open between the 19th and 21st. Now that I'm "married" (and very happily so far, I may add) I don't have as much occasion to go sauna-hopping. Has anybody been by Roger's to see if it's back in business? I'm sure they want to be open in time to catch the high season, which begins today in earnest!

Billy!! You ARE in Rio! I am so sorry that I am not there right now. I had some much fun with you last year, and wanted to return for more fun this year, but alas, my travel and entertainment funds have disappeared. I will have to make sure they are there for next year. I have very fond memories of 117,and Rio. My heart still pumps fast at some of images.... are some of those boys whom we shared still there? "The Model" ? "The One who was so protective of his anus"? Have you seen Jabba yet? the REAL one?

Let me live through your eyes..and your....

by the way, I am much calmer person today than when I was with you last year, if you can believe it.

all my love,

Senor Ricky
