Hotel option

I´ve been reading your mails about hotels and I have a sugestion. Some american friends always stay at Copacabana Hotel Residencia, Rua Barata Ribeiro 222, tel. (21) 25487212. It is very close to Cardeal Arcoverde metro station and in walking distance to the saunas. Visitors need to show their ids at the front desk. It´s an apart hotel so the apts have a kitchen also. It´s ok. I was surprised that the Atlantico was so liberal with visitors. Lucky enough nothing happened but do be careful with boys you take to your rooms. Most of them are nice people but we have a saying here " a ocasião faz o ladrão" (ocasion makes the thief) so do not think you´re in Geneva. I always take boys to hotels that are made for this. They are cheap and clean. There are 2 or 3 in Copacabana. If any of you want their address I will give to you. I either make them at the saunas or in those hotels, at home only if they are recomended.

In Downtown there are some very good hotels for sex, some even have jacuzzis aand small saunas.

The Lido is very convinient, clean and close to the gay venues. The one in Ipanema I have never been to but seems to be fine. The one downtown (centro) has suites with jacuzzis and mini-sauna. The prices vary but never more than US10 ffor the period. Of course, you can stay overnight but I dont know the prices fot that. They all have bathroom and tv with str8 and gay porn movies.
