M4m Monday 10/27 Party at the Atlantico

Guys, Tri messaged several of us that are the "unofficial" organizers of the rooftop party on the 27th. It appears that the total per person might end up closer to U.S. $50. per/person. Food, drinks, gifts such as T-Shirts for every one, party favors for the size group(75 to 80?) we will have will probably push it closer to that range then to the $30. -35. range we had last time. My questions are this:

Do the majority of you find this OK?

Secondly, we will need to collect the funds from the M4M's the day of the party. We will provide a sign in sheet and then can assign someone to check off those that have paid, It would actually be better if we did this Monday during the day at the hotel, so we don't have cash "floating" around at the party. We could have everyone stop by which ever room we designate to pay.

Comments? I am open to any and all suggestions, Gulliver, Tri, SFTraveller are the ones that have been in contact on this.

This is a good idea. I feel the price is fair. However we may want to consider charging you on the number of escorts served or possibly a per use charge!!!

I am going to have some boys over in the afternoon at the hotel so that I can concentrate on being socialable at the party instead of sneaking off to do a 3some in my room!....OK, that's a lie, the first part is true, but I am still going to sneak off to do a 3some at the party!!

Hi, fellow travellers! Tomcal's right, we're working on figuring out what the party will cost so it can be shared among the M4Mers and their traveling companions. We're trying to keep costs reasonable, but we've got to provide for around 100 people, with the costs spread among about 31 gringos. As soon as we figure what it's going to run, we'll post the actual price here.

 

Each M4Mer's share will be paying for dinner (churrasco), drinks (beer, soft drinks, caipirinhas, and the boys' favorite tipple -- Red Bull), souvenir T-shirts, a few of the door prizes (others are being donated), and some low-key security (with this many participants, we need to have someone keeping an eye on things, especially any boys who might show up that nobody really knows very well).

I'll be a virgin at this gathering and if Tomcal runs true to form, he'll have all the guys, and I will be a virgin when I leave. So I will leave any decisions regarding cost to the experts. But to my mind, $50 isn't too much to pay for watching Tomcal do every guy within a 2 mile radius, so it seems reasonable to me. Thanks to the planners for all their hard work. I will appreciate it for sure.
