October 24th and 31st Sauna Parties Update

I spoke to the co-owner of Pointe 202 today regarding having the two Friday parties at 202. He is meeting with Junior(one of the other 2 partners) today and will let me know tomorrow re:

1)Whether they can bring boys in from Lagoa in Sao Paulo, which the third partner owns.

2)If we can truely make it private, admittance limited to M4M's

3)What min. number of guys they would need to do this. I dont' think this is a problem, as long as we have a min. of 15 guys each of the Fridays...right now I think we will have over that for both days.

4)Guarantee at least 35 boys for the party(see #1 above)

I am open to any suggestions, however, I am not, nor do I intend to be a party planner. I will make sure that the arrangements are made with Point 202, after that, it's up to all of you to make sure you have a good time! I plan to spend VERY little time organizing,planning, hauling food, prizes, etc. I will be too busy doing what I go to Rio for! lol

If Friday is a busy night I think you will be expecting too much to get them to close 202 to others. Besides if he buses in lads from SP, the local lads wont be too thrilled either at being excluded.

 

Please avoid agreeing to hold the parties at a quiet sauna on a Friday night, I don't fancy going to 2 parties on the two Fridays I am there and missing the busy nights at other suanas. (If Estacion is as quiet as someone recently posted, I would not be surprised if he suggested hosting it there.)

 

Certainly the prospect of seeing some SP cuties is tempting and will make a refreshing temporary influx of cuites)

Oh and one last thought, presuambly we won't be hauling prezzies to these two nights will we?

The two Fridays are "slow" nights at Point 202 because that's the night Estação is busier. Fabulous as we are, I'm sure Junior and his partner wouldn't close one of the saunas just for our party if they thought they'd be missing out on a lot of local business that night!

 

You don't need to bring prezzies those two nights. But this does raise a question I'm not sure we thought about: what are the expectations of the sauna boys going to be?

 

If the sauna is closed to the general public, and there are, say, 35 boys to 15 M4Mers, some of them may not end up having made any money that night. Particularly if they've been induced to come all the way from SP (and I doubt the sauna is going to pay their round trip bus fare) they're out of pocket for their transportation, meals, lodging, etc. Is there any expectation that we're going to guarantee that each boy makes at least that much? Otherwise there are going to be some unhappy and disgruntled campers, I'm afraid.

 

What do you guys think? Tomcal, did you discuss this at all with Junior and his partner? Before we have the place closed to the public, I think we'd better be clear about what everyone expects from these events on the sauna's side! (BTW, it doesn't make any difference to me, personally, if the sauna is open to the public those nights.) We also need to be careful that we don't inadvertently stir up some bad feelings or resentments among the boys or the local clients. So far we've managed to avoid doing that, by and large. We want to be sure that when our "Fall Break" week in Rio is over, that everyone involved is happy and wants to see it continue!

Driver, the reason we chose Friday, was for the reason that it was slow at Pointe and we would have the place more or less to ourselves and Junior thought having a party there would provide alot more revenue then usual...but, for this to happen he knows he needs enough boys there. They think that when the boys find out the Americans are at Pointe, the boys may desert Estacio to be with us as they view us as better customers. This is where importation of S.P. boys comes in. Secondly, this isn't costing us anything, They are hoping to make money on the cabine rental, food, drinks, massages. If you don't think 202 is fun after you get there, it's just 3 blocks over to Estacio and the party/show there starts at 9:00, so you would have plenty of opportunity to go there or do both.

Tri, As far as expectations of the boys, it's just like any other night, they pay to get in and hope someone(s) want them! This really doesn't worry me, most of the M4M's will have just gotten there, I am sure they will want to visit "upstairs" with the boys. I personally will do my part(at least 5) to make sure they stay happy! I am sure some boys will get no action and some will get multiple visitors, just like any other night.

Again, no obligation for any M4M's, come if you want, go to Estaco or 117 or stay in the hotel, I know what my choice will be!

My expectation was more or less the same as yours, Tomcal. I figured it would just be another night at the saunas, except with many more foreign clients. However, I hadn't expected the importation of guys from SP. If they don't score, they'll be out considerably more money than the local escorts.

 

On the other hand, even if they don't score when they first arrive, chances are they'll stick around for the week when they realize Rio will be full of randy gringos. If they don't make it the first Friday night, they probably will on succeeding nights. I just think we want to be clear with Junior and his partner what everyone's expectations are so nobody (or at least, hardly anybody) goes away feeling burned or otherwise angry. We've been really successful in avoiding that so far, which explains the eager anticipation of our return to Rio in October, and we want to keep our good reputation! But we need to be more aware, because with so many gringos coming (and so many newbies among them) it'll be easier for things to go wrong.

 

I hope everyone who reads this and who is planning on coming to Rio in October keeps this in mind. Please make an effort to spread your favors around (we KNOW Tomcal and a few others will be making heroic efforts in this regard) and treat the guys well, including buying some drinks and snacks even for guys you just chat with but end up not engaging. If we do that, everything should be fine, even though we will be creating the first M4M mob scene!

Tri, you make a good point regarding being hospitable to the boys. I always offer to buy a drink for anyone that I have gone with to a cabine, and many times for boys that I may want to see the next day or even ones that are friendly and who I like but may not necessarily go with. I don't by drinks/food for the "pushy" ones that ask.

If I am going to eat something at the sauna I will always offer to buy for any boy(s)that I have invited to sit with me. They do appreciate it and... Guys, we are not talking alot of money here, drinks and food are very inexpensive. You will generate alot of goodwill with the boys this way.
