Contact information for Atlantico and Carlo

Thanks for the voluminous and interesting information that is posted here regarding Rio. I want to particularly thank Tomcal and Trilingual. I have now booked my flight to Rio. Despite the great amount of excellent information posted on this site, I do have a comment and suggestion.

 

It would be helpful to those who are planning their trip to Rio to have in the current postings, a contact number for Atlantico or any other hotel that is recommended for people of our persuassion. It would also be helpful for a current contact posting for Carlo, who I understand finds hotel rates and offers guide services and/or introductions in Rio. Although I found the Atlantico hotel telephone number on the internet, when I called for a reservation, the rates quoted to me are much higher than what I have seen posted on this site.

Kiddo, you've got to do a little bit of work yourself, here!

 

First, check the Escorts South FAQ section. The information you're asking for is already listed there, under the appropriate headings (Rio - Accommodations and Rio - Touring). BTW, the FAQ now extends to more than one page, so if you can't find what you're looking for on Page 1, click the next page(s) to see if it's there.

 

If you can't find what you're looking for in the FAQ, try using the "search" function WITHIN the message center to find the thread with the information you want. Limit the search to M4M and the Escorts South thread. If it's been posted here, it should pop up, as long as you've searched for the right key words. (In this example, key words would be "Carlo" or "Atlantico.") A ton of information about the South American scene has been posted in the past couple of years, and it's almost all available if you just search for it!

 

If, after going through the FAQ and the search function you still can't find what you're looking for, feel free to post a request for info, mentioning that you've first checked the existing resources on the board. If someone knows the answer, they'll post it!
