I`m confused regarding the October party`s guest policy since it seems that everyone is bringing 1 or 2 guests. How does this work?.

Do they stay with their original hosts or can one or two be picked off for a meeting ? Is it a round robin or are some hosts going to be po`d if their guests are borrowed for a while?

Will there be some additional boys there who won`t have assigned hosts?

I know that this event has been done very successfully before on a smaller scale so should appreciate some clarification on logistics with a much larger group. Seems to me that it might be better to bring no guests then you can swoop.

What happened at the first party, is we all invited some boys, plus some showed up because they got invited by some of the boys. I can't speak for anyone else but my friend and I both ended up doing 3ways with guys we didn't invite. I personally will probably invite guys who I know are very good at what they do, so that some of the new guys can have fun. I am not intending on having sex at the party with the guys I invite, I just want to make sure some "really fun" guys are there for all the M4M's that are coming. Last time as the party started, guys are talking/drinking/eating and if someone caught your interest, you just casually wandered off to your room for awhile. The party lasted about 3-1/2 - 4 hours, so there was plenty of time for those special little getaways. Actually worked just like th saunas

Funny I was just thinking that I would like to invite one guy I really liked but not be possessive over him (despite my previous references to certain birds). it wouldn't kill me not to have sex that day either.

 

Its nice to know that if you cop off with some beauty you've never seen before that there wont be a hissy fit from another guest. I have heard and read a lot about many guys and have still to see some of them in the flesh yet alone sleep with them so it would be good to see some finger pointing.

 

Yan springs to mind, then there's the twins and andre - all these guys I have yet to meet.

I'm glad somebody inquired in this area; a cyberbuddy who has been corresponding with me about this party (He plans to be there, too!) discussed this issue with me just last week; I'm elated that someone got the courage to ask!

 

I'd like to see some the guys who were at Soiree 1 if they are at this party!

Earlier this summer we discussed the twins and their NOT being around for almost a year; apparently the same applies to Yan, for I too had wanted to see him, but nothing has been heard about him since his purported visit in January of 2003 to be a guest of Calvin Kline's. I presume CK really took marvelous care of him. My advice is let us all go with whose present in RIo at the saunas, and if any of the hearlded boys appear-- then let us approach them and have fun, fun, and more fun! :)

Yan is there! He was around every night He was there this week, nice guy, he is not my type(kind of like Gil, a more plain ordinary face compared to most of the other boys, imho), but Big Dick! I have never been with him, but he is always very pleasant and the guys who have been with him have all liked him.

The understanding at the first party (and presumably for this one) is that we will invite guys we like who we think have been particularly good and who might be of interest to other M4Mers. We can't be possessive about our guests: we're not paying them to come to the party, and the whole point is to give them a chance to meet and mingle with the M4M crowd. They are, after all, escorts! This doesn't mean you can't slip off for a while with one (or more) of the guys you invited, but you're going to want to pace yourself because there will be plenty of other guys there who are likely to catch your fancy! Naturally, if true love strikes (and not all of these guys want to be escorts forever) that's another story. But if you keep in mind that these parties aren't for romance, they're for camaraderie and hanky-panky, you'll be in the right frame of mind! So invite guys you like who you think might appeal to other M4Mers, as well!

Sorry, I forgot to answer Driver's (and SFTraveller)question about Kevin. He was nowhere to be seen, neither was Apollo, Carlo or Breno and several other of the guys you always see hanging around on all the visits there.

I just returned from a BH meeting with Bruno Gaucho and I must admit,he is one of the nicest, sweetest and career focussed guys you could ever meet. Not doing a review on this post but you can tell that there is a big difference between sauna guys and the naturally fairly affluent, however I am not downgrading the sauna guys at all.

I met some really nice ones last November and had a fantastic time on my first trip to Rio. Don`t even ask me about the one night at Le Boy when I met the fabulous twink I who thought I was his ticket to paradise for the next 3 days.

Well, do post a review of Bruno, though, just to help offset some of the crap he's gotten from some of the weirder M4M contingent.

I’ve got a really basic question……at the soirée, if (when!) we slip away for a while with some of the guys, do we pay them the usual escort fee or is the party with the gifts their only “pay.” I read statements like “We’re not paying the boys to attend.”

 

Please understand, I’m not trying to be cheap, I just want to know the right way to handle it.

 

I’ll be there for sure (already bough my airplane ticket) and will be happy to do my financial share.

They(the boys)come to this party primarily to MAKE MONEY! and secondarally to make contacts to Make Money in the future! They do not consider the food and drink as compensation for having sex with you. The statement we made that "we do not pay the boys to attend" means that we make it clear to them that there will be food and drinks but we can't guarantee they will get work, Just like the saunas!!(and those guys inviting boys to the party should make this clear so there is no misunderstanding, although most of the boys, after two of these parties, seem to know) But that being at a party with a group of Americans their chances of making some money is as great or probably greater then if they worked the sauna and that's why we hold it on Monday night when 117 is closed and its' traditionally a slow night at the other two saunas, so it worth the gamble for the boys to attend. Worse case scenario for them, they get a free meal/drinks and some gifts, alot better then if they were sitting at the suana.

So, just to follow up on Tomcal's clarification, come to the party with the usual supply of R$50 and R$10 bills to pay for any private quality time with one of the guys! (And don't forget to tip for superior service!) We're not paying the guys just to come ply their wares and meet -'n'-greet prospective new clients, but these are working boys, so compensation is expected if they actually "work" for you!

 

The party is actually a BETTER deal for the guys than the saunas, because they don't have to pay to get in, as they do at the sauna, and food/drink is free!

Thanks for your clear and helpful responses. Since I'm new at this, I wanted to be sure I understood the plan. What you said makes perfect sense.
