In planning my first trip to Buenos Aires, I sent an e-mail to an escort there. I just received an e-mail from the escort in Buenos Aires, and he quoted an hourly price of $70 (US dollars) which is about $298 Argentina pesos. I think his price is a bit high. Has anyone had any experiences with escorts in BA? If so, what do you think of the $70 price? Thanks!

Although I have not have direct experience with BA escorts, I have read threads here that one should go through a native or local when hiring an escort. Your rate will be far, far cheaper.

 

I received an email from an M4Mer about his trip to Brazil; when he contacted the escorts directly his rate was far higher than when he sought the escort through Carlo Romanus or someone else. That's your best bet whether it be Brazil or Argentina.

 

Check the archives; your information is there in more than one place, I believe...

Axiom's right. It's quite common for escorts to charge foreigners more than they charge locals. (At least the kind of escort you get through an agency or an e-mail.)

 

If you're interested in a local escort in Brazil or Argentina, talk with Carlo or RobertoBA, respectively, and ask for their assistance in contacting the escort and determining price, time, etc. Or, if you have local friends who can help you, ask them to be your go-between.

 

By the way, even if you speak Spanish, use RobertoBA unless you happen to be Argentine yourself. The local Spanish accent is very distinctive, and if you speak with a different accent it'll be immediately obvious that you're from somewhere else and probably ignorant of the local market economy. Consequently you'll get offered the "for export" pricing! ;) Having a local assist you will help avoid little hassles.

 

Of course, Carlo and RobertoBA can also offer other services in their respective cities that will make your visit MUCH more pleasant and memorable, so just let them know what you're interested in. Have a great trip!

Iwas in Bs As last April. I contacted with some escorts, and was lucky to set up some appointments with Nicolas and Ivo Striper.

I speak spanish, but not with argentinean accent. However the guys charged 120 pesos/hour (about US$ 40 at that time)

$120 - $150 Argentine pesos sounds much more reasonable for an escort in BA. Even though the peso is now worth a bit more than the Brazilian real, in many ways BA is currently less expensive than Rio. Taxis were much cheaper when I was there in April, and meals in restaurants also tended to be somewhat less expensive. So are rents. That means that escort services shouldn't run much more than they do in Brazil, where a non-sauna escort can run R$100 - R$150.

Roberto may have to correct me, or fill in, but I understand "lomo" to mean "torso." It's used in the context of "buen lomo" which means well-developed chest and back.

 

"Facha" is slang for good-looking/handsome. Another version is "fachero." It probably comes from Italian, which strongly influences Buenos Aires slang and Argentine Spanish in general.

However, if you've done your homework and read through the postings, you'll realize that Roberto is neither young nor hot nor an escort. Status of Status

 

I was just there at StatusModels last week.

Roberto took me there the first time and

showed me the ropes.

 

It is not a grand venue like some Brazilian

saunas -- just a few rooms on the fifth floor

of an old apartment building. Selection is

limited, but you may get lucky and find a good

match. I did both times that I went there.

 

The bad news is that their web page has been

down for a few weeks, but the actual operation

seems unabated.
