M4M Soiree mid year Planning meeting!

I am spending the weekend in NYC with Gulliver, and we thought that it would be a good idea(ok, a good excuse to get together!)for SFTraveler, Gringo, CTDick,Florida Robb, Sucker,Gulliver and myself, plus any other M4M's that are going to Rio the end of October to get together to plan this out, in the next couple of months. We thought a good place to meet would be in Vegas. Cheap airfares for most of the country to get there, and alot to do there while we are "planning"! If you guys agree, let's talk this week and see what we can come up with for a date that will work for most! We are looking at the Soriee II, to be on Monday, Oct. 27th, on the rooftop of the Atlantico. Since there will be probably double the number of guys(both M4M's and boys), we will need a little more coordination to make this work. Last time, at 6:00p.m. we were canvassing all the nearby grocery stores trying to come up with enough Red Bull!

BTW, I saw the Broadway play last night,"Take Me Out" (after we went to a Brazilian restaurant on the corner of 48th and 8th, which we both highly recommend) about a baseball team with a gay member, it was good and had all the actors naked at various times of the play! Worth seeing both for the play and the "eye candy" One of the actors is the guy from Sex in the City, who is naked for quite along time on the stage(unfortunately, he's probably the least impressive...) There were quite a few actors in the audience last night, John Lithgow(sp?), the boyfriend of Michael from QAF, first season, and another guy who has a series on but I don't know his name, I think it's called the Avenger, and a couple of actors who you would recognize from TV and movies but don't know their names, Ok, I admit I am not going to make it as a entertainment columist!!! One of the main actors in the Play is a very handsome(and Hung)guy who has been on Law and Order. Anyhow that's all the gossip for the week! LOL Oh yeah, Gulliver and I did go to Stellas last night, it was very good after about midnight! But I will let him fill in the details!!!

While Tomcal and I were having lunch today we decided that September was kind of an empty month and a m4m Soiree II planning party in Las Vegas would give us the perfect excuse to get together and see one another. I think he is right about having at LEAST twice the number of us and boys at the October event and a little planning might make the next one a real blow out.

 

Monica, the manager from the Atlantico, has a man who will come in and do a BBQ on the roof for us (pig, ribs, burgers, hot dogs and fixings) and we will proably have a bartender making drinks and cleaning up. Jackhammer has the reservation on the Presidential Suite but has offered it to us for the party (we declined as we want him to have the best possible time in Rio but what a grand offer). I think we should use the pool that night - imagine if we all bought our favorite boys the swimsuit or apparel to wear!!! It would be fun for us and the boys to hang around the pool.

Floridarobb and I (and robbguy) will be at Atlantico in June and will talk more with Monica and meet the guy who will do food.

 

I have to say that this site has been a real joy to me - it first inspired me to go to Rio last november and i have met and made many friends thru this board. Floridarobb, sucker, and Tomcal have been

houseguests with me in NYC and hopefully I will see the likes of SF Traveller, Ctdick, Gringo and my other new friends for their NYC trips. Floridarobb and I are taking my motorhome cross country for a month (aug 15 on) to Alaska and doing some other RV travel this summer. Will be meeting him in Cuba on Wed for our second trip there. What fun all of this has been.

 

Having Tomcal as a houseguest is like having Machiavelli coach you with your high school student council election. Wow - how this guy handles the boys. THey walk in comment on the apartment and are sweeped into the guest area (kind of close bookings though Tomcal !!).

I keep an abacus in the foyer and will give you all the final tally.

Watching him surrounded by the latino boys at the bar reminded me of buzzing flies around the picnic potato salad.

 

Floridarobb and I are going to make it a 3 week trip in Oct/nov 2003 and maybe hit Santiago, Salvador, Fortaleza and other South American hotspots. If any of you have recommendations about these of other places we SHOULD NOT MISS please let me know. Know little about Peru, Ecuador, Columbia, etc..

 

If anyone reading this post happens to be on the main highways between NYC and Vancouver (and then onto Alaska), we are leaving on a motor home trip August 15th.

Well I'm up for any weekend in Sept. right now in Las Vegas. Let's select a date right away since people's schedules fill up fast. I'm a bit embarrassed to admit it, but I've never been to Las Vegas before so I'm already looking forward to it. And I also agree that the more preparation the better. And it would be good if we could get a good head count of the Americans we're expecting. SF Traveler

SFTraveller, I cant wait to show you L.V.!!! We will really have fun! One of my buddies is a Porn actor there, and I will make sure you get a proper introduction!! Gulliver and I were saying today we wished you guys were here this weekend, we have had so much fun and the weather has been great!(and so has the sex!!)

I really can't wait to meet you guys in LV! I'd been jonesing for a trip to Venice in the fall until you posted this and now I'm back focused on Brazil fulltime. I had my first Portuguese lesson since I got back and I'm going to speak better than Tri and Gringo, or bust trying. And the downside of speaking Portuguese surfaced today as I received an email from our friend Carlos asking me to send him R$500. Considering how many overnights I did with him, and what good blow jobs I got from him, I'm sending the money--I can hear Tri berating me now! I wish you guys were here right now, but LV will have to suffice. Also, you should know that the week before the party, I'm planning on going to Iguacu Falls with my beau from Floripa that I reconnected with at Lagoa in SP. It's strictly BYOB (bring your own boy) there but should be fun. Gulliver, FloridaRobb, Sucker, Tomcal, Tri any takers? SF Traveler

Gulliver, in spite of the political situation (or maybe because of it) there can be interesting adventures in Colombia and Venezuela. Bogota has baths (and possibly there are boys). Cartagena, on the Colombian coast, has been relatively trouble free and is supposed to be one of the most fascinating fortified cities in the New World, all restored and atmospheric, and it's also a beach resort. Supposedly there's some kind of scene there. In Venezuela, Caracas may be a bit much with all the political demos and things, but resort areas like Puerto La Cruz and Isla Margarita may be active and more trouble-free. In fact, they'll probably roll out the red carpet and all the best looking boys for foreign tourists right about now!

thanks for thinking of me. I just want to be at the party! I am finishing my vacation in St. Augustine, and watching all these hunky men playing by the pool and in the surf and I have had a raging hardon for 10 days. Let me know about the Las Vegas dates. Would love to meet and do my part to help plan the October gathering. Tomcal, are there any men left in NYC who can walk or even sit on a dick? Looking forward to October and now September too.
