Yesterday's paper announced that two new Viagra competitors went on sale in Brazil this week. One is Cialis, the other one I don't remember the exact name. Cialis is supposed to be longer-lasting (up to 36 hours) than the other two drugs, but that means that any side-effects will last that long, too! However, Cialis is supposed to be less likely to produce blue vision than the other two drugs.

The drug whose name I don't remember lasts approximately as long as Viagra (2 to 8 hours) and has similar side effects. Both drugs are supposed to be cheaper than Viagra (at least in Brazil). According to the newspaper article, 20mg of both of the new drugs is equal to 100mg of Viagra, so it may be possible to cut the pills in half, just like the 100mg Viagras.

I'm sure that any other information about the new drugs by the, um, medically informed among the M4Mers will be very welcome!

Cialis (Tadalafil) made by Lilly, is already approved and mrketed in Great Britain, The FDA reportedly issued preliminary approval for marketing in USA pending more studies about pharmacokinetics (Because of long duration of action, there is some concern about prolonged side effects)
