Planning my second visit to Rio May 9-19. Have contacted Atlantico, but have not received a response yet. Just wondering if anyone else was planning to be there at that time. Would like to meet some other M4Mers, sounds like the last group had quite a good time.

PS. For all those at the soiree. How about some more recommendations - names & sauna they work.

I'm also planning a trip in May, from the 22 to the 28th. Have gotten a reservataion at the Atlantico, but it took 3 or 4 days for them to get back to me, after using the website resevation site.

Hard to give names and what saunas people work at because it changes. Guys come and go, but there's always a choice. Just come and enjoy!

I could not get a response through the hotel web reservation service and e-mailed Liz (Izabel) at reserva@atlanticocopacabana.com.br I did get a reservation for the 14th of May to the 21st for 160 R$ + 10% tax for a standard room. In a recent currency check this came to $55. This is the same price I was quoted at the Royalty. I decided to stay at the Atlantico after I heard someone had been robbed in the Royalty. I stayed at the Atlantico last year and found it to be a great location and the rooms closer to the mountain were reasonably quiet. I hope to see you in Rio!

If you aren't able to get a room at Atlântico, which I think you should get without any problem, there are other hotels nearby or closer to the beach with the same prices... As for the escorts, Trilingual has said it.... they will definitely be in one sauna or another... 'cause they move form sauna to sauna... Therefore if you go to the saunas that the M4Mers go: Estação, Point 202 and Roger's you shall meet them there. My only suggestion would be to go one day (preferably a Monday) to Meio Mundo.. not many people here have been there, but it's really worth visiting... you won't get disappointed...

Okay:

 

Rogers - Apollo. He's built, sweet, versatile, and speaks more English than most (but still not much)

 

Estação - Juan Carlo - slim, versatile, eyes of death, and very affectionate.

 

Point - Wagner - among the best escort experiences of my life-versatile. He gave me a great massage, we had sex, he gave me another massage.. Mozart is also very highly recommended.

Just wanted to bump the thread up. Will be staying at the Atlantico. Apparently not too many M4Mers in Rio during this period, but looking forward to meeting those who will be.

dont forget sauna Club 117, in Gloria, 5 subway stops from Atlantico. it was the most frequented sauna the april m4m ers went to. closed on Monday (therefore busy on Tuesday). i agreee with Tri that it is useless to give recommendations as at each sauna there will be a different group each night AND there are so many boys that you should just concentrate on those that you find especially appealing. Dont worry about trying to find a certain boy in a certain sauna - it is not necessary.

I'll also be arriving back in Rio on Friday the 9th (with some excitement as I'll be closing on my new home there on Monday) but must return home, unfortunately, on Tuesday night. (Sorry I'm missing you by ONE day, Alan. And our timing is usually so perfect)

Sorry we are unable to meet this trip but congratulations on the closing! With the dollar slumping I now find myself in a quandry over my hotel reservation. I have the Royalty at US$55 (total) vs Atlantico at 160 R$ plus 10%. Any recommendations? Hope to see you in late November when I plan my next trip to Rio/ Alankay.

Good news for you Alan - Your amorado is back in town. He didn´t make Paris - had an auto accident here but looks NONE the worse for wear. He´s expecting you and here´s his new cel: (xx) xxxx-xxxx

 

Bad news for me - my bank BBV - offered me $R2.74 on the exchange for my major wire on the villa after I got $R2.94 at the ATM. AND they have a new rule that you have to give them 48 business hours to withdraw more that $R1000 in cash which totally stiffed the use of the cash already on hand that the seller wanted as part of the deal Although it´s very difficult for a foreigner to even open an account here these days, I told them to forget it, returned the wire, and went up the street to Citibank where the exchange was considerably higher and was able to open a new account. All of which means that instead of closing on Monday, I´m giving the seller some money on Monday to extend the closing for a week or two while I go home and rewire the money. Ahhh Brazil - the good, the bad, the truly beautiful, and the ugly.

Jake, I'm sorry to hear about the temporary setback on your closing. But I'm happy to hear that Fernando is back in town! If I don't hear from you with his cell number I will keep a keen eye out for him in the saunas. This news cinched my decision to stay at the Atlantico--where I know Fernando can visit with NO hassle.
