REFLECTIONS OF A RIO VACATION

I am home after 8 wonderful days in Rio.

Starting with my arrival on feb 15 for the grand opening of point 202 to my return this morning i had a great time and want to thank all the posters for their advice and opinions.

RIO is a fantastic place to visit...the people are mostly friendly and all soooo beautiful and the tropical fever of the city shines through.

I was interested in checking out the sauna scene, as I have been to many other gay resorts/cities around the world and Rio sounded just too good to be true.

Well, it is true. The boys at the sauna are beautiful, sexy, erotic and business like. After all, it IS about money for them. However, not all are jaded professionals and when you find a gem it can be a wonderful experience.

I did not go to Rio for love, but i have the quirky habit of falling in love rather quickly.

My first day, I hooked up with Mavica who was on his last day and he took me to Estacio and showed me the ropes. Boy, it sure helps to have some buddies to cling to cause the boys come at you and after you. And since i am rather particular about what i like in a guy, i was standoffish to most of the hunks there.

Then i met a cutie, and i went into attack mode.

We rented a room upstairs...and being a newbie it was like going into a honeymoon suite, cause all the other boys were given me the once over.

I am more into body worship than just fucking around, so i love the kissing and tender caressing...and of course sucking.... my posting name says it all.

We had a great time in one of the suites there...with a private bathroom and shower. He did not rush me. I paid my 50 reals and tipped him 10.

One of the insights i wish to offer to others thinking of coming to rio is that I do not prefer doing sex in the sauna....i can always go to regular ones and cruise around. I like to use the sauna as a place to MEET the boys, and then invite them to your hotel.

The Atlantico was the perfect spot for that, and the boys all love the closeness cause they can walk back to the sauna after they are finished.

My hunk ( he was very tall...and very sweet) and i went back to the Atlantico and got it on in the comfort of my room. I prefer that to the sleazy atmosphere of the suites in the sauna. That is just my preference.

After he left I went to the opening of 202 and they had a wild strip show going on with hunk after hunk.

It was lots of fun for my first nite, and jet lag was catching up with me since i had just flown in from san francisco, which was 6 hours time difference.

By the way, that nite they changed their clocks back....

Well the point i am posting is that i was already caught up in the swing of things, and my whole trip was fantastic.

I had my sweety back to my hotel for an overnite....and during the week invited Antonio from Rogers back for an overnite...all very nice experiences...And i took the boys to breakfast at the hotel...which they enjoyed and didnt cost me any extra.

My favorite sauna was 117....the selection of boys is great and when they all all together in the main lounge there is a sexual excitement of being in the room with so many studs. Sure its all business...but thats the way of the world...and once you realize that you can have loads of fun in rio without being disappointed.

The downside is the boys are aggressive for work, and i finally realized i just had to keep saying no sex, no sex to the ones i was not interested in.

I was quickly becoming a real pro.

One of the muscle guys i wanted to date wanted 80 reals...i said too much...mostly cause i didnt want to be taken advantage of. I kept thinking most of the postings said stick to 50 reals....!

Well on Bingo nite at 117, I won a free room!

So i went hunting for the muscle hunk, Marcio, that had previously quoted me 80. He was so sweet he offered to do our date for 60!

I was quickly falling in love.

It was so much fun....and that is another point of my posting. Its not just about sex....its having fun on a vacation and the boys there can be so much fun.

After our date i decided that 117 was the best hangout for me cause there were more muscle guys there. In fact they had a live sex show on sat/ nite the 22 of feb and the place was packed. I had another date with Marcio...this time i brought him some jockey shorts designer underwear which he just loved. He let me take pics of him. He was just so nice...and treated me very special. He invited me over to his apartment to have one last date before i caught my plane back to sf. on sunday eve.

He referred to his roommate (also a rent boy)as a "loveboy". And then it all clicked in. These guys are not all just hustlers or escorts! They are local kids who have made a career choice.

The pay is damn good and they may be nasty to nasty customers or sweet to sweet ones. Guys, what you get out of your experience depends so much on what you put in to it...and how you treat these young men!

Just a note of caution...a few of the guys are to be avoided at all costs as they are only there to take advantage of you!

After our session i walked back to my hotel. The sun was setting behind the ocean in a spectacular fashion, there was a lively crafts market near the Copa Palace and samba groups were practicing for Carnival along the beach path.

This was RIO in all its glory...the setting, the people and the rhythm of life.

Its not Bangkok, and its not prague, my two other favorite sex spots.

Its better....because i also love the ocean and more on that in another post.

I was not disappointed in rio and will go back when that rhythm, that glorious rhythm of the city, calls out...live life fully! and that is just what i did for 8 glorious days.

Hello Sucker . . . nice report. Of the close-in commercial sauna's, I liked the 117, also . . . it's certainly a cut or two above the Copacabana places. The "big" room is a great meating place! Shame on you!
