Rio/Saunas During Carnaval (Carnival) March 1-4'03

I'm anxious! One of my best friends and I will be in Rio a few days before Carnaval, during the event, and at least five days afterwards. I know there will be many individuals from throughout the world and assume the weather will be sizzling and the entire city will be joyously and festively raucous, but what is the general ambiance in the SAUNAS? Earlier Trilingual wrote that there will be more clients as well as escorts, but what is it really like?

During this time do the "boys" become selective as to whom they wish to connect? Apparently this concept doesn't have a place during "low" season. Is "high" season similar to our baths (although no money is exchanged) but EVERYONE is very selective? Do the "boys" put on a show in flashing and strutting their stuff?

 

When I was in Estacao in October, there were few clients but a number of escorts "boys"! Almost all of us who were there (as clients) were the "hunted"! I saw one rather obese man who seemingly did not get the attention as a few others and I received. That is just one situation that I mention in terms of what might occur during "high" season. Are the "boys" discreet? Or do they want the same attention as they seek during "low" season? What's the "real" take? I await your responses!

There's no need to be anxious. As I said before, there will be plenty of guys to go around at Carnival. And no, they don't suddenly decide to become "selective" at Carnival. They're in business to make money. High season (including Carnival) is their best chance to make some. Therefore the guys want as many clients as they can get. Turning "selective" all of a sudden isn't a good way to achieve that. Besides, what's to get "selective" over? I mean, one older, out-of-shape client is pretty much the same as another one! ;-) As long as they have cash, the guys find ALL clients interesting! Of course, this applies to clients who are decent and treat the guys as the clients themselves would like to be treated.

 

So, no need to worry or stress about this. Just go and have a trashy good time! :9
