Thanks to this Forum, and to trilingual for his timely help, I was able to get in touch with OurManinBA Roberto and engage his services in arranging my hotel accommodations and my personal guided tour of BA. I cannot say enough good things about Roberto, nor heap enough praise on him. He is a true gentleman, he is witty, charming, engaging, entertaining, accomodating, generous - in a word : wonderful.

 

He was waiting in the lobby of my hotel in Recoleta when I arrived from the airport. He greeted me, and made sure everything was all right. He waited for me while I checked in and took a few minutes to refresh myself. Then he took me on a walking tour of Recoleta so I would become familiar with the area and be able to get around myself. He showed me the cafes, the restaurants, the landmarks, the shopping places, where to sit and watch all the hot boys and men walk by.:9

 

There are many many hot Argentinos in Buenos Aires. I was so happy just sitting in the cafe eating facturas and sipping cafe and watching the endless parade of hot boys and men go by. But that's not all I came to BA for }(

 

After my siesta, Roberto sent over Andres , whom others have written about on M4M. It's true, all they have said, and more. Andres is affectionate, charming, so cute and adorable. And "complete" as they say in BA. He showed up at my hotel room at 8 pm, and after a long, slow, sensuous session of touching, kissing, cuddling, ..... we went out for dinner. He took me to Ave Florida, a giant shopping street. We strolled around , had cafe and pastries, engaging and delightful conversation with Roberto, and then on a whim, went to Status Models, which was close by. Status Models is located in an apt bldg, no signs, so unless you know the address and apt number, you would have no idea this is a House of Boys. We pressed the buzzer, and a voice answered over the intercom. Roberto and the voice engaged in some conversation, and soon, a boy came down to open the gate for us.

 

He took my breath away. Dark hair, full lips, bright eyes, Gustavo led us up to the sitting room of Status Models, and disappeared behind a door. Soon a man who appeared to be running the operation came out and talked to Roberto. There was a special! Two boys for the price of one! 100 pesos for an hour, for one boy or two. What a deal! Then came the presentation of the boys. One by one the boys came out and introduced themselves. Some were shirtless, some weren't. Some came out wearing sweatsuits, and some came out wearing only a g-string. Gustavo was the first to come out. His eyes, his lips, so captivated me that I knew he would one of the boys. After about 10 boys came out, Erik ( his picture is on the statusmodel.com site) showed up, and I had my two.

He came to my hotel, and after more playing, dinner, going to a disco for young folks like Andres, we went back to the hotel at 4 am and called another escort - Gaston. Wow! Well, it was already dawn.

 

Andres had agreed to spend the night, and here I was a little surprised when I found out that he didn't liked to be touched when sleeping. :-( He said he is used to sleeping alone, and can't sleep if someone is touching him. There is nothing more satisfying to me than to cuddle and touch and hold someone after sex and fall asleep. I should have made that expectation explicitly clear with him beforehand.

I got something to eat, and eventually, I ended up going to Neron - a new bar because the guide I had (La otra Guia) said they had strippers on Saturdays. I finally got there at 1 am, and there were only TWO people in the whole place. And there strippers were not going on stage until 2 am, and not only that, they were FEMALE strippers. I left in a hurry. Then I went to Angels, another Club which advertised Strippers on a Sat. I got there around 1:30am, and found out that the strippers weren't going to be there until 4 am. No wonder the crowd was very sparse, and no one was the type that made my heart beat fast and my body feel tingly and my face feel warm. OK, on to the next place on my list.

 

Contramanos. I misread the guide and thought there were strippers, but it was the wrong night. The kind gentleman sitting at the bar next to me told me that when I asked, and he also told me that the receipt I received at the door for the cover charge (10 pesos) was good for a drink. It looked like the whole bar was filled with men in their 30's and 40's that night. Andres did tell me that Contramanos is for "old men" (his words, not mine). 30s and 40s is NOT what I would consider old men, but to a young 20s, I guess it would seem older. chuckle. By this time I had lost my will to try another bar, so back to my hotel I went for an early night of it.

 

The next morning, I decided to move to another hotel. This one was OK, but for my last two nights, I decided to spurlge and check into the Etoile, just a couple of blocks away. I got a Diplomatic Suite for 250 pesos plus tax. It comes out to around 300 pesos a night, which is around $85 US, the best was the huge whirlpool tub big enough for lots of fun with Gustavo -oops, jumped the gun here - but it had a sitting room, a living room/entertainment room, and a bedroom. nice. It had its problems, but it eventually got resolved.

 

I met Roberto around 11 am, and we went to San Telmo and wandered around the streets full of antiques. He showed me the old style buildings, and the cobblestone streets. Lots of popping in and out of shops looking at this and that. Then a break for cafe and facturas and then a nap for me. We agreed to meet later that evening for another foray to....where else, Status Models, to see what other boys were available. Roberto was told that the more muscular boys showed up there around 9 pm, so we agreed to go there then.

 

But first Roberto showed me his lovely apt, tastefully furnished and well appointed in the Recoleta part of BA, and also showed me another apt that was available for a long term (3 months) rental if I decided to go back to BA for a longer period of time. It was all very tempting. Well, we made it back to Status Models, and got out of the taxi, and Roberto, with his sharp eyes, saw Gustavo walking down a side street. "Isn't that your friend over there," he says. I looked, and it was indeed Gustavo. I chased him down, and thru Roberto, we found out that there were only two boys at Status Models. It was Sunday night, and no customers usually show up after 9, so all the boys leave. Gustavo describes the two boys remaining, and they didn't seem interesting to me. But I do arrange for an overnight with Gustavo for the NEXT evening, as Roberto and I had plans for Sun night. We leave Gustavo, and take a taxi to Vixio (http://www.vixio.bluemodels.com.ar), thinking we might surprise Andres there. Roberto tells me that he has been known to be "working" there, and has been seen in the live sex shows there , "con penetracion". Well, I've had my own shows, in my hotel room, with Andres!

 

Andres is not there, so we go to Tacla, a gay restaurant right around the corner. We had intended to have dinner there, but it was very warm, and the AC was not turned on. Roberto and I instead go to a Spanish restaurant nearby, I had a wonderful dinner again, and we return to Tacla to see a stripper in action. It was disappointing in that he did his strip show number through the narrow restaurant, and then promptly disappeared. all of 5 minutes. Not very satisfying to this oversexed American :-)

 

It was now 1 am, so we went to Punto G. Yes, indeed, there were to be strippers there that night, but the show was not to start until 2:30 am. Poor Roberto - I've kept him up so late, and this promises to keep him up until at least 4 am. Do we stay or not? In the meantime, we walk around the neighborhood. Roberto tells me that this is the "prime" area to pick up the street rentboys. And that the best evening is Fridays, when they are most plentiful. Why? So they can make some money to go out on Sat night. Even at 2 in the morning there were several attractive ones about. And there were two boys together with whom we played a cat-and-mouse game ending in an agonizing decision making point for me. One of them was a very cute boy who was willing to do anything for 40 pesos, and they had an apt nearby. There was also a convenient hotel that charged 20 pesos for 3 hours. I was a bit concerned for my safety, but Roberto offered to take my credit cards and anything else valuable for me, and I wanted to see the strippers at Punto G. But this boy was very attractive. Dark, liquid eyes, swimmers build, a winsome, innocent smile. How could I resist. In the end, resist I did, and Roberto and I returned to Punto G for the show. It did not start unti 2:45, and it was a disappointment.

 

The show was hosted by a drag queen who would not shut up. This DQ went on and on and on and on.. just like the ones I've seen in the US, and there were only three strippers, two overly sterioded up, and one that was fine, but they didn't really show much dick until the last few seconds, then disappeared behind the stage curtain. Really no audience interaction. The DQ did a dance number, then there was a 15 minute intermission.

 

After the intermission, the DQ came on for another dance number. I really was not enjoying this because I came for the boys. After this number, the three strippers (the three tenors???) came out and finally did get totally naked, with poles at full mast, but didn't really do much audience interaction at all! And all of this for one song! that's it! Then they all disappeared.

 

Roberto was clearly disappointed, too, and told me that in the past, there was MUCH more nakedness and touching and interaction with the audience. By now it was 4 am, and we were both tiring, so we hailed a cab and went back to my hotel, and Roberto to his home. I went to bed dreaming of my impending night with Gustavo.

 

I slept late, til 2 pm, but went back to Status Models for another visit with the boys. I went through another presentation of the boys, but decided that Erick was the best, and had a wonderfully sensual, body-wracking, electrifying session with him. What a CUTE gymnast boy. Remind me to have an overnight with him the next time I go back to BA.

 

I go back to my hotel, wander around Recoleta some more, then back to the hotel for another nap, to prepare for Gustavo, of course.

It turns out that Gustavo is vegetarian, and his favorite kind of food is Chinese. Yikes! I didn't fly all the way to Argentina to eat CHINESE food. Wouldn't you rather eat a nice steak, or Parilla, I ask him, before I found out he was vegetarian. No, he tells, he is vegetarian. so I call Roberto, and he recommends a Chinese close by that was attached to the Chinese Embassy. Well, that would do. After we arrive, I ask to speak to the manager, who looks Chinese. I can speak Mandarin Chinese, so I told him, in Chinese, "My friend here is vegetarian, so could you please prepare 3 or 4 of your very best vegetarian dishes?". He was absolutely delighted that I could speak Chinese, but he was rather concerned about my request.

"You are not from here, are you?" He says. "No, I am from the United States". "These Argentino people, they don't eat vegetables much, all they really eat is meat, so we don't ever get requests like that. Let me see, we can make Brocolli and Mushrooms, and Bok Choy and Mushrooms."

"Is that it? That's the best you can do?"

"I am afraid so"

 

 

Gustavo loved it. And I had a funny story to tell.

 

After dinner we went back to the hotel for more hours of well, passionate sex. Sweet, sweet boy with great oral skills and a very willing bottom, and a nice tool that got pleasingly hard. 1/ How is Fabian's/(Rodrigo's) English? I don't speak or understand Spanish or Portuguse (Yea, I know I need to learn).

Can you advise what Fabians/Rodrigo's overnight Rate is?

2/With rgds to tours and Roberto, what is the best way to go to these various tourist spots?

3/Is the US$ accepted for payment or do you advise or recommend another way for payment, either for Gifts / meals / as well as the Taxiboys.

4/I have heard about a Falls in Argentina, do you know anything about

that falls?

Roberto says it will be very warm in January, and that most people flee the city for the beaches of Argentina.

Rodrigo's English is limited. Very limited, but I think you can communicate with basic gestures. All of my communications were through Andres.

I do not know what his overnight rate is, but when he came over to my hotel for the show/three-way with Andres, he asked for 120 pesos since it was at 4:30 in the morning. Roberto says his usual fee is 80 pesos to go to his apt, 100 pesos to come to your hotel during "normal hours". He stayed for about 1.5 hours

Roberto and I traveled by taxi throughout the city. It was very cheap. Roberto does not travel by bus.

 

For tourist places outside of the city, I think there are tour buses that will take you comfortably there. Roberto has a travel agent friend who can arrange it for you.

I paid Roberto in US dollars since that was the fee he quoted me, but I paid the escorts/taxiboys in pesos. I also gave gifts of alfajores, dinners and entrance fees to clubs and discos and all other entertainment expenses for evenings spent together,

Yes, I have heard of this fall, it is supposed to be lots bigger than Niagara Falls in the US, but it is some distance from BA. It should be a nice place to visit in Jan.

Probably you are talking about IGUACU FALLS, in the point where you can see them from Brazil and Paraguay as well, but the Argentine side seem to be the best walking side, even if from brazilian side could be higher view. May find lodges or hotels as well of different rates, and walk through the falls under the water in the argentine side, or take a ride by small boat around. Wonderful experience, mystic and calm. No animals or birds. Strange impression.

 

Sort of same view than Venezuelan Canaima Falls. The lands spring out red coloured because of crystal rocks from the deep earth and waters falls from TEPUI or highlands.

The falls which are alluded to here (and which I have yet to see--perhaps next April '03) are Iguacu Falls in Brazil and Argentina and Paraguay. THE ROUGH GUIDE TO BRAZIL (wonderful book) states that there is a Brazilian side as well as an Argentinian side; the latter is purported to be a little more spectacular, but both sides are phenominal as reported by some correspondents of this site. My advice to you is to check with a travel agent or go on the net--search Goggle for Iguacu Falls...etc... I hope this helps somewhat! Ax

Thx to every one for the info. I have all but one question left to be answered. I got all the other information I needed from the many threads on this site, it really helps with planning and of course when its a first time visit to another country.

My last question (I Hope) has to do with the computer. You mentioned that you took your computer with you and that you went on line. Well, I would like to take my computer with but I have no idea how to, or what to do when in another country to get on line (Internet). I am pretty new to the Internet, and i get by at work with just what i need to do my job. I am eager to learn more, and i would like to learn how to access the net in another country...Thx again.

By the way, Roberto has assisted me with information with regards to hotels, and his service, which i will take advantage of...Although i have not met him, what i have heard and what he has done to help me, tells us that he is really a True Gentleman.....

I took my laptop computer with me because I knew that my internet service with Sprint had a dial-up (telephone connection) in Buenos Aires. So all I had to do was for my laptop to call up the phone number for Sprint internet access for BA, and I was connected to the internet in my hotel room. Very simple once I had the dialup connection software set up on my laptop computer.

 

I found that this was not really necessary as there were internet cafes all over BA, and very inexpensive. 1 Argentine peso per hour!

Unless, of course, you want to look at the "special websites" in the privacy of your hotel room :9 Also, many of these internet cafes closed at midnight or 1 am.

 

I hope this infomation helps.

A lot of the earlier venues have changed and are NO LONGER in existence. Roberto has updated the venues at this site since he's been writing; how do I know? I've read EVERYTHING that's here, plus Roberto sent my good friend who will be in BA before me, a few websites with escorts along with Tom's, a modern place with glory holes, and a few other places.

 

There are houses with guys, but I do not know the names: recently a guy who posts here went and wrote about his experiences. My only suggestion is to read everything that posted here in the archives about Buenos Aires. There are only 7 pages but rather quick reading.

You're quite welcome. In addition to my having contacted Roberto and he me, I am reading guide books and consulting other websites. One superb website that I'd recommend to all travelers who plan to travel to Buenos Aires is http://www.gayguide.com.ar. This site has everything; I plan to do a gay night tour with them and two excursions during the time that Roberto will be unable to be with me.

 

I will be in Buenos Aires during my birthday, a very special year, thus I asked the webmaster at the aforementioned site to recommend a restaurant or two for me to do this; he responded in a timely manner. I also asked about escorts (which he doesn't personally recommend but has three web links at his site for this purpose). A few weeks back, I asked about a cine which he'd recommend; he did, but right now I don't know where I placed the recommendation.

 

Anyway, I'm excited and do plan to report extensively about my trip when I return to the States in November.
