Exchange rates in BZ

i just received word from a friend that the offical rate of exchange for US$ is 3.71. traveler's check r getting 3.25 and cash is getting 3.30. however, he says the atm will pay 3.69, almost the official rate. could this b true? can i really get a better exchange with a credit card rather than cash? input please, i leave on friday...

In the past few years I've always gotten very favorable rates using ATMs. You get the same rate whether you use a credit card or a debit card.

Ditto. ATMs are consistently the best exchange rates in my experience.

29th October i got 3.71 to one us dollar and the next day 3.80 to one us dollar on the atms
