Just got back from Prague, CZ

Hey guys: Just want to let you know that I just got back from a two week vacation in Prague and had the most amazing time with the escorts there. First off, I stayed at an all gay hotel called Villa Mansland. What a great place. Only sixteen rooms, but great staff, great food, great bar and sexy escort boys hang out there. The hotel also provides a driver to take you into the city for about 10-15 dollars. The boys who hang out at the hotel range from twink to muscle boys. Most speak fairly good English and German, as well as Czeck. Their prices tend to be a bit higher than the city boys, but well worth it. The hotel also provides excellent security and makes every boy sign in with proper I.D.

 

In the city, I was a frequent guest at a club called "Escape." I had never experienced anything like "Escape" before. It is a small club that opens around 8:00pm for dinner and drinks. The food is outstanding and very cheap by American standards. About 10:00pm a few boys start dancing near the tables. Again, they range from very twink and barely legal to somewhat older muscle boys. Around midnight a real show starts. Two boys perform sex in what they call a "shadow show" (behind a lit curtain). Then three nude boys mingle in the crowd and ask patrons to paint them with provided paint and brushes. After that, about 25 completely nude boys perform a short show and ask a few guests to join them in an erotic dance. Extremely hot!! All the "Escape" boys are for hire and have been screened by the management. Let a boy know you are interested and he will sit next to you and make arrangements to go home with you.

 

One thing that is odd about the bar scene in CZ is the way you pay for drinks. When you enter most gay clubs, you are given a blank white slip of paper. Every time you order a drink, the waiter simply marks your slip and you pay at the end of the night. Just be careful not to lose your slip and make sure the waiter is acurrate. Any boy you take home may also ask that you pay his drink slip too (usually only a few sodas - no big deal).

 

Other guests at the hotel went to other gay clubs (Drakes, Pinnochio's, etc.) and all reported excellent treatment and fantastic boys. The boys I went with from "Escape" wanted about 1,500 crowns (around $55 U.S. dollars) for an entire overnight. I paid them more because of the excellent treatment I recieved.

Here we go again - when will you idiots learn that you are spoiling it for the locals by insisting to pay more than the asking price.

 

If you went into a store there, to buy a sweater - would you pay the store more than the asking price just because you thought it was worth more - I doubt it.

 

Your kind won't be satisfied until every escort in every city of the world charges as much as the guys in NYC and LA.

That's a bit of a harsh response. I am only talking about tipping a few extra bucks for those who deserve it. I highly doubt that a few extra bucks will make the CZ boys start charging $200 per hour. I understand your point, but I think you could have stated it in a less hostile way. I thought we were all in this together. - Matt

Guys - I forgot to mention one other aspect you need to be aware of in Prague. Almost all of the boys are smokers and heavy smokers at that. I did meet a few who did not smoke, but they were rare. If smoke is an issue for you, you might want to reconsider going to Prague. If you are a smoker, bring lots of extra cigs, as the Prague boys will beg you for American cigs. Can be a great ice breaker though. Enjoy!

Prague is one of the cities I'm interested in visiting so I decided to find a bit more info about villa Mansland.

Yes, Pinnochio's is still open. I did not go to it, but friends did and they enjoyed. They did report that they thought the boys at Escape were better looking and less "hustler-type." Some also went to Drake's (owned by William Higgins) and had a great time there.

I am not sure when the new owners (German guys) took over the Villa Mansland, but I did hear all about the problems in the past (drugs and underage boys). The new owners seem to be running a really great place, if you do not mind being slightly outside the city center. I'll stay there again when I go back. You can also rent very nice, inexpensive apartments throughout the city and not have to deal with the hotel scene. A friend of mine did that and really enjoyed his experience.

I have been to Prague and stayed in a five star establishment outside the city center. I found taking taxis back at night was a nightmare since the taxi drivers seemed to have a hard time finding this hotel and their command of English was non-existent. The Czech language is not pronounced phonetically so giving local names was hopeless. After the first night I carried a written address for my hotel with me but this did not help since they still did not know the streets and after midnight the streets in the suburbs were deserted. Based on the location alone, I would not stay at this place again since it was way off the beaten path and at night every street looked the same.

 

That being said, I had a wonderful time In Prague and found the boys at several bars (Drakes and another whose name I forget) great. I had a non-smoking room so just told them they could not smoke. One stayed overnight. Most of the boys could manage some English. They were all very polite and friendly, no rip-offs and they delivered what was promised. I had a wonderful jacuzzi with my overnite escort, he delighted in the luxurious surroundings which we sometimes take for granted.

 

I read the review of the hotel suggested above and feel the reviewer displayed some attitude, looking for faults. I mean who hasn't experienced a 15 minute checkout at least once in their lifetime? And a spider in the room, come on, they don't use screens in Prague and the windows open so the odd little thing might fly or crawl in. And having the chauffeur service would help a lot given my experience with the local taxis. Gee, and having in-house boys sounds like the height of luxury to me. Oh well, different strokes...

I was intrested to read the recent reviews about Prague and Villa Mansland. You will see that from earlier writings that I have frequently visited Prague and reviewed the various clubs.

The first time I went I also stayed at Villa Mansland but did not do so again.I would say that the hotel review above is more accurate to me.

Firstly the "Limo" never turned up at the Airport and I had to find my way there myself with a non English speaking taxi driver and a Gay Map. Just imagine!

Secondly, it is MILES from the small town centre where everything happens. Too far for a City Centre holiday. Also very difficult for a late return home with an escort. I now always stay in town.

As regards the Limos... well what is really meant is that they will phone for a cab for you!

As regards Escape I agree with what Matt says. See my reviews .. it is awsome and well worth the time spent there.

However, I found that rates were not 1500 Kr per night, more like per HOUR!

Drakes has received many poor reviews and has been off my list for a long time. Dont forget that they charge 10 GBP to get in and you may well find nothing there.

Pinnochios is rather rough, although it has been cleaned up since the raids a few years ago.

Dont be put off. Visit Prague, but I wonder whether Matt is on a commission.....!

Hotels in Prague

 

I can confirm that staying in a hotel outside the city-center in Prague is not comfortable. Be careful, as most of the cab drivers are rip-offs ( meters have been tampered with ) and prices tend to double for tourists !

 

I would recommend a hotel in the Old City (historical center) http://www.hotelwaldstein.cz/

I agree that tastes differ, but I would definitely stay in the City Center

I wish I was on commission!! I could use the bucks after spending all mine on the boys. As I mentioned, some of my friends decided to rent their own apartment right in the city and they had a great time. As for taxis/limos, I can only comment on the hotel's driver and the driver employed by Escape. Both excellent. However, I did hear about problems like the ones described by other reviewers when it came to using the street taxis. Since I never did that, I cannot comment on it. I just tried to relate my experiences during my first trip to Prague and did not mean to get so many people agitated. At least I got my pictures back today and have some great memories of some great people. Do what you will and good luck.

Normally I would have no problem sharing the photos with others like you (who seem to be truly interested), but, in this case I cannot for two reasons. I promised the boys that I would not share the pictures and possibly have them end up on the Internet. Most of these boys have families that do not know they are gay and/or escorts. Even William Higgins blocks his site in the CZ Republic to protect the privacy of the boys.

 

Secondly, since posting my original description of my journey to Prague, I have received several somewhat threatening emails. It appears that my tipping the good Prague escorts 100-200 crowns ($4-8 U.S. dollars) has triggered an international movement to have the world's escorts start charging $200 U.S. dollars per hour (yea, right!). Since my $4 seems to be the catalist of this movement, some folks feel the need to threaten me. Also, since I reported having a good experience at Villa-Mansland and no problems with the two (count them - only TWO) taxi drivers I used throughout my stay, I must be full of sh*t.

 

I just tried to share MY experience and did not realize others would take such offense to it, but I can take any heat the jerks want to dish out. However, I would not subject the boys I was with to it. God forbid one of these jerks went to Prague and recogonized one of the boys in my photos and did not get the wonderful treatment I received. The boy(s) will catch a lot of crap and then I'll hear all about it, and, of course, be somehow to blame (or, again, considered a liar). It just is not worth it.

 

I did receive some wonderful emails from folks interested in Prague and some offered their various experiences to me. That's great and I appreciate it. To the others - these were my experiences and not any universal promises of what your experiences will be if you go to Prague. Based on some of the emails I received, I can understand why the boys did not want to stay more than an hour with some of you. Try some respect and perhaps the boys won't flee as quickly as they can - works for me. Call me any names you want, but I was the one who woke up with some beautiful boys sleeping peacefully next to me (even though I snore like hell!) in a good hotel room after a great night of sex.

I am sorry about the bad part of your posting experience. Certainly I cannot apologize for the actons of others. That is not my place. Unfortunately some of these guys have decided that they are the lords and masters of "the escort experience" and that they know everything there is to know about it. They make viscious attacks on those who they disagree with. The worse is FFF but in this case some of the guys who are not usually so bad attacked you becuase of their pet peaves. This is most unfortunate and cam make it somewhat unpleasant to post here. Just ignore them and move on.
