I understand that you have been asked to "save this board" from all things snipey and negative... and while no one seems to know by whom or why... because it has always been like this, for the most part....

 

What confuses me is why so frantic?? Why respond to every single post since last June???? Or 2005?

 

Seriously.... the last 14 posts in a row were by either you or Rick. And while this is America and free speech and all.... less is more (except for dick) and I really don't think we need saving.

 

And it's Eric Hanson... and Blake Harper hasn't escorted in 15 years...

 

I am all for "Forget your troubles... come on, get happy..".... but relax, friend, we're fine.

 

Take a breath.

Okie's point was that his name is Eric Hanson not John Hansen as you referred to him in your post comparing him to Jessie Metcalf.

 

And Okie, Blake Harper was indeed escorting when I first started hiring in 2000 and for a few years after that, as I recall. He used to have a few reviews here when he and Jason Branch were still a couple. I still would like to meet Jason one day.

I have been bewildered by all of the incessant posts by Pegasian! What has been the point?

I've liked a few of his reads, but daily I see all of the space that he has used to generate topics which have gone unresponded to....

 

But I do thank him for giving me a suggestion re: the gay guide that I am seeking while I'm in Barcelona!

The way I see it, he's having some fun and trying to start some conversations. A lot of people (including Axiom) complain when things are too negative around here, but then when someone like pegasian states that he's trying to lighten things up with some fun posts, people still complain. What a great crowd. :p

You are exactly right, Scorpio about Blake Harper.... He was escorting when I first started hiring, too, also around 2000... and kind of obsessively, ever since... I threw that 15 years bit more for effect than accuracy.

 

It is one of my great regrets that I missed out on Blake Harper... (and Reece)... He was on the cover of "Men" and I had never seen a prettier butt. I did have the pleasure of meeting Jason Branch and he was worth every penny. Sexy, sexy, sexy.... I am hoping to track him down this year as well. With Best's help... he still sees him when Jason comes to NYC....
