Hi;

I won't be on any cruises in March, but I WILL be on the Atlantis Baltic Cruise at the end of the summer...

All the best;

I've been on a few Atlantis cruises and have found a new travel love. In fact, I'm planning on the RSVP cruise to Alaska in August.

But, here's a question I have about cruises and escorts. Do escorts really want us (clients) to know they are on the cruise??

I assume when an escort is on the cruise, they are either there with their significant other or have been hired for the event. I have just thought that an escort on the cruise would be there to relax and not work.

So, if I encounter an escort on the cruise how should I interact with them? Should I assume they'd prefer not to wear the escort label? If it is someone I've previously hired, do I greet them with "good to see you again" or pretend we've never met?

I personally would never try to hire an escort I happened to run into on a cruise. But, is it awkward for the escort to run into past or future clients on the cruise?

How would escorts prefer for clients to handle the cruise environment?

I would imagine it would depend upon the guy. Some escorts are very

public about what they do for a living, while other are markedly less

so. If I were you, I would give the guy a smile and maybe a hello just

to show that you remember him and that YOU are "ok" with establishing

contact, and then let him make the first move.

I know I have been out socially with friends who don't know about this

part of my life ... and I've had gentleman callers shout "ERIC!!!" from

across a crowded bar. It can be awkward :p

Also keep in mind that the escort may be wondering the same thing about

you - I imagine there are plenty of men who hire who don't want to be

seen with an escort in public. Bottom line - it should be clear from

some "nonverbal" signs that you are both cool with it before you hug

and go grab a drink.

Hope this helps,

Eric

Just always treat people in a professional friendly manner and you should be fine. The Escort could be on vacation or on the cruise with a client so discretion is best. How much do you like to work on vacation? E-mail is best. Even on a cruise most people check their e-mail daily. Blackberry's now work on ships. There is no escape from technology. R

Ship-Plane-Train-or Walking on 8th Ave..IMHO it's best to let the "Working Guy" who isn't alone at the time,to either Say Hello First or Not!

Anyone walking around looking for BIZ on a Gay Cruise, where alot of the Hunks show up to hit the sheets for FREE.. I'm sure doesn't do very well.

Few go on these things with the "Working Guys" in mind. Mainly because there are alot of Clients who "Traveling with Friends" donot want their little Hooby known!

This Hobby is definitely more of a Terra-Firma thing. ;-)
