Mark was one those escorts that always made me feel as if he enjoyed spending time with me. From what I've heard, he treated all his clients that way. He's a special guy and I wish him the very best in the future.

Yeah, no doubt, I am going to miss Mark. But what a great memory.

 

I think I first saw Mark in March 2005. Right after, Draker was here and SD suggested that I see a Dr about the pain I was having.... good advice, just in time. Yep, it was cancer and Mark came back to see me in late April, the weekend before I was going to start chemo. And I was freaked the fuck out.

 

I am a HUGE control freak and the idea of me going into this scared me to death. So, much so, that after breakfast, I was in the bathroom in the lobby, having a pretty loud and nasty case of the dry heaves. Mark heard it and bought Gatorade and nuts etc and really talked me down.... Exactly who needed to be there at exactly the right time. Just like Draker.

 

Mark and I have kept in touch through it all. The loss of both our Mothers, his cat, my dog, my cancer... It goes way beyond the physical with us. Though, the physical part, that sweet, muscle butt and that gorgeous face was pretty special, too.

 

He emailed me yesterday, but I was out of town with David and Andrew Justice and Ty (Happy 50th to me!!!! and it was WILD, but that's a different post)... to tell me that he had decided to retire and to give me his new contact info. He didn't want me to read about it here first. He wanted it to come from him, so he also texted me today.

 

As I have said about Mark from the moment I saw him in the airport, that movie star moment, he's all class with a great ass.

 

I feel lucky to have met him (same with Draker). And laugh if you will, but this is winding down for me as well. Not going to be easy to top last night. But it's been a blast and Mark is one of them that I hope to carry with me.

 

He's made the right choice for himself. He's happy and moving forward and I am a better man for having met him.
