How do you find your favorite Porn Star to be an escort?

I'm in NYC now for a month and reading the forums has made me think about a question I've had for a while about guys that appear in porn movies...

 

I assume these guys make their money escorting, not dancing or appearing in XXX films. So, how does one track them down? There is a few I'd love to meet up with, but I have no idea how I'd track them down. Current obsession: Colby Keller...prolific, but still hot

Any ideas? Googling them just gets me to the porn they've done or ads for upcoming movies!! Finding Colby would be hot..but finding more than just home would be AWESOME. I found Diesel Washington, Arpad Mikalos and Mario Ortiz on rentboy...where are the 100s of others! Oh, and I'm having a ton of fun with the non-porn star boys in NYC...not to worry!

A lot of guys who make porn escort on the side, but a lot don't as well. Making porn requires one to be able to have stop-and-go sex for six hours with a good-looking guy while several complete strangers direct and record your every move. Escorting requires one to perform a variety of acts from quickie sex to long 'romantic' dates to B&D scenes with a variety of men whose physical appearances and personal congeniality can vary enormously. Different skill sets are required, some guys have both but others don't. So don't make the assumption that your favourite porn model will hop into bed with you if you flash them a few Ben Franklins. Some of them, Kurt Wild and Reese Rideout (of Randy Blue) are even married to women - porn is just another job to them.

You've already found the best way, which is to go to the main escort sites like Rentboy, Rentmen, Men4rentnow, etc. and search ads on those sites. And of course, this (Daddy's) site is worth searching too!! Keep in mind that luck plays a factor though. A number of porn models are not available to escort all the time and will only run ads intermittently or travel and run different ads in different cities, so frequent searches are needed.

 

As well, a lot of porn performers seem to have myspace profiles, so if you're a myspace user, that's another possibility. Lastly, if you're really desperate and have more money than you know what to do with, you can contact David Forrest who seems to be back in the business of providing contact information of porn stars for a fee (I do not recommend it, btw) . Forrest, a former porn agent, has been convicted before on prostitution-related charges in the past (which is just one reason I would not use him for fear of his records being seized in some future investigation) but is once again running an ad in Rentboy under the LA section as Forrest meetings.

 

I'm pretty sure I have not seen an ad for Colby, but if you do find one, post and let is know!! :p

Good post above. From the time I started watching porn, I've always heard the line "they're all just doing it to advertise their escort business". Yet I rarely see many of the hottest guys "out there". If Rentboy is arguably the biggest and most current "catalog", do an advance search using the word 'porn' and/or 'star' in the description and see how few turn up (compared to the total number of advertisers). I'll bet you favorites are NOT THERE!

Well... you could always send me a letter and have me pass your request onto one or several of these people. These guys are my work mates.~ :-) So, you can find one porn star and see if they know other pornstars. It's the body-buddy system~!

Also... a lot of the porn guys do fund raising events. You will find some Porn Stars at most any gay venue or celebratory event. We generally all have business cards and photos to sign and that sort of thing. Go to events like: The Gay Erotica Expo, AVN Expo, Bad Boys Parties, Porn Bingo, White and black parties, The Grabbys, IML, The GayVN Awards shows and surrounding pup events... there are tons of events and the porn guys are generally at at least some of them during the course of the year.

Thanks. Actually, I don't doubt that was true once upon a time when there were only a few companies that could afford the production costs and could make only a few movies a year. But cost of production has declined considerably and you've had a real 'revolution' resulting from the advent and increasing popularity of internet porn. Studios are shooting a lot more these days for website content as well as DVDs. And that's not even counting the plethora of independent websites, like Randy Blue, Next Door Buddies, Corbin Fisher etc. all of them updating weekly, if not more frequently. So suddenly, it's possible for many more models to shoot 20-30 scenes a year which means a heck of lot more $$ coming in than making porn without escorting could bring even a few years ago...

Very true...I've been told they make as little as $500/scene. Probably for randyblue, etc. Even I know people in Alberta (Canada) that have done scenes for Hothouse and Titan...so I guess the reason for doing it isn't always advertising...mabye just quick cash and the thrill of being in a porn.

Agreed Mr. Tyger! Was discussing that very situation with a client two weeks ago. Great minds think alike! ;) I have admired him on Randy Blue for the past few months (very nice pipe swingin' 'tween them beefy legs), and was pleasantly surprised (i.e. Stiff Wood Alert) to see him working out in my gym. Glad I was wearing the loose fitting shorts that day! ;)
