I have hired independents and agency supported E Guys for many years now.

 

I have been recently hiring from a new agency in Chicago and I have no complaints.

 

 

I read a book on escorting before and I never thought that being one or the other makes a difference.

 

Tonight, I just though I would post the query Independent escorts or Agency based escorts...Any thought on the subject.Any slant is welcome.

I like the convenience of working with an agency. I had a great time with the guy who ran "A-List" in NYC -- sadly, now defunct. He only sent guys he knew I would like -- also felt very comfortable knowing that the guy on his way to my place was vouched for -- that also was helpful.

I wouldn't want to work for an agency because one fun part of the whole process for Derek and me is emailing or talking to prospective clients and developing a bit of a rapport (even if it's very brief). We like establishing that direct personal connection. If I were working for an agency, that's when I'd totally feel like the w-word (the one that becomes #### when you type it here).

If the guy is hot and you click either will do. However, as Rick notes above, with an agency there is rarely that individual touch and the fun of getting to know each other on a more intimate level. Agency guys are always just a tad removed from the whole process and that includes giving the nth degree of personalized service. Of course that is exactly why some escorts prefer to work for an agency as they can keep a certain distance between themselves and the client. Now this is something that some clients will not even notice as they are not looking for a full-scale relationship. Plus there are clients who prefer anonymity and hence not be interested in that “nth degree of personalized service”. Consequently, in their case an agency type situation might make them feel more comfortable.

 

Still, like any professional or business relationship, it is often comforting to the client to have a certain bond with the service provider… Plus it certainly is a factor that fosters repeat business above and beyond the quality of the service that is provided.

I believe ChiTown has also some escort agencies, but I have never really tried them. the only one that I did call on was WindyCityBoys thru Kennedy.

IMHO ..I don't see any difference IF your asking about "Working Guys" who are very Professional in what they do.

 

As far as the Original Contact, everyone feels comfortable going about it in a different way.

 

Agencys are "Middle Men", which some feel they donot need the Assistance of. As far as the Working Guys go, quite a few gained their "Experience" from starting out Working It for an Agency.

 

Then they decided to "Freelance" for the Financial Gain! LOL ;-)

I have hired independent E Guys in the past and they seem to be more relaxed when it comes to relating to me -- a John!

 

Perhaps they feel they are their own boss and do not have any responsibility except to themselves. E guys from agencies on the other hand tend to be very dependent on the madam...which I am sure is a good safety net for someone with no experience handling all the logistics, movements and traffic of escorting. E Guys from agencies tend to be very dependent and cling to the Madam for one on one instructions (mentoring? or coaching as someone puts it kindly).

I use both independent and agency escorts. It’s hard for me to say which provides the best experience. There advantages and disadvantages to either approach.

 

The greatest advantage in using an agency is that you are almost always sure of what you are getting, i.e. the pics you see are really represent person you will get. With agencies, there are rarely any bad experiences.

 

The disadvantages are that agency escorts more rigidly hold to the session time. Also, what has been agreed upon to happen is done through an intermediary and this doesn’t always seem to be clearly communicated to the escort.

 

The greatest disadvantage in using independent escorts is the increasingly prevalent practice of using fake pictures with the result of getting someone you are not expecting. Even when the pics are right, the experience may not always be the best. The greatest advantage with independents is that more than occasionally you will have someone who is really committed to your having a good time and who will often be very or even extremely generous with his time if the chemistry is right. Some independents bring a level of passion that at least I have never encountered with agency men. Another advantage in hiring independents is that in the current state of the economy, many are asking much less for their services compared to agencies.

 

In summary, using agencies is a safer choice with more predictable results without the lows or the highs of independents.
