Disappearing Derek?

Among today's reviews, I was really captured by the first review of Derek in NY, clicked the link to Rentboy and was blown away by the hot pictures and thoughtfully composed text. That was this morning. I just checked back to feast on those pics again and discovered the link doesn't work anymore, and when I tried to do a name search for Derek in Manhattan on Rentboy, nothing turned up.

 

Could it be that the review generated so many calls that Derek decided to remove his ad?

Rick, that hadn't occurred to me... In the past, we've seen reviews for multiple guys with the same name, just having a numeral put after the name by the site editor.

 

But perhaps "Derek" of yesterday will appear under a new name...

But seriously, guys, I'm trying to figure out how to interpret this.

 

First review appears of a thoroughly hot looking and sounding guy, whose ad on Rentboy had never shown up when I was browsing there, so I suspect it was new. Then within hours of getting this laudatory review, the link to rentboy stops turning up his ad, and I can't find it by searching on the Rentboy.com site either.

 

Could it be that the review was a phoney and the escort in question got cold feet and pulled his Rentboy ad when calls started coming through and he realized he could not meet peoples' expectations?

 

Or was this a guy taking an experimental flyer trying out this "escort" stuff, and then couldn't handle the volume of calls he suddenly got when the review went up?

His ad may have just simply expired and he has not paid his fee. I would agree his pics and the review my lower appendage feeling mighty strong. Give it a few days and check back. To bad an email was listed in his information file which I thought was a requirement, but he does list a phone number so you can call.

I just caught this thread... but from reading the review I thought he was basically a vanilla oriented if still dominant type personality. However, I just checked out this guy's Rentboy stats which state that he is into leather, S&M, B&D, spanking, etc. Wow!

 

I am going to assume that nobody here has had any experience with him doing an S&M scene. Still, hopefully some of the NYC locals who post in this forum and are into such a scene will give him a try and subsequently report about the encounter.
