You and the escort get naked. You're all hot and ready to go when you suddenly notice some weird bumps on his groin area. In a situation like this, what would you do ? Would you cancel and give him no fee? Go ahead, of course taking necessary precautions ? (if so, what would these precautions be in regards to oral ?) Or cancel but give him a cancellation fee ?

IMHO. #1..IF he was a Responsible "Working Guy" He should not have shown up with any Strange Bumps in an Area known for STD'S!

Of course they could also just come from SHAVING in the Groin Area also. But when a guy Shaves, that's pretty obvious! IF he says he didn't know they existed..NOT YOUR PROBLEM!

Ask him to Re-Sked when they are gone. IF it was a "Genital Herpes" Flareup..As Always that is a Risk in Sexual Activity whether or not Dormant!

Pay them half their fee? No way! Heck, if I was renting a hotel room for the tryst, they would owe ME the room fee.

Escorts are no different than any other service provider. They should be paid for their service. If an electrician were to show up, but was sick and couldn't do the job, he wouldn't get paid. If a painter showed up and couldn't do the job because he didn't bring his paint brush, he wouldn't get paid.

If the roles were reversed, and an escort noticed signs that the client had a problem, then I could see paying the escort for his time.

I have treated every escort that I have hired as a professional. And I expect them to act in that manner as well.

Only two have ever disappointed me ... and I have well documented those experiences on this site.

Well I can see you doing it because you definitely seem like the honorable type ;)

Unfortunately not everyone has your gentlemanly qualities. Let's just say I'm no stranger to this situation not even being questionable or reasonable doubt related ... I had to confront the client.

As the client is there a way to address it that wouldn't offend you? How do I relay the fact that because of their disregard for my health they would owe me money for my time? Kinda hard on that side of the coin huh?

Yeah, that's a lose-lose situation.

You can be a little less confrontational by framing it as out of consideration for your other clients when you call a halt, but that doesn't cover why he still owes you. And, IMO he does. But the best route for you is probably to swallow both your loss and your pride so you avoid having an idiot talking trash about how you charged but didn't put out. It sucks. <sigh>

And then there is the preventative approach... both for Escorts and Clients... you know... doing the frequent body check to make sure everything is good~ Check your crotch, cock, balls, ass, arm pits, torso, head, ears, nose, mouth, teeth, tongue, breath, finger nails and toe mails... That way if something is amiss you can always call and inquire about the possibility of rescheduling before you get inches away from some guys crotch and see something winking at you beside a nice silky butt or cock hole and be wondering how to politely bring it up, the 'bad' winking thing that is~

If it;s a bruise or a big ol pimple you can always write and say... Hey~ I got this nasty bruise anbd a big ol zit~ Is that a problem? If it's something that is harmless but visable like a bruise or scar or fatty cyst and really causes no health issue (but is just out there and someone might feel uncomfortable) you can always just acknowledge that it is there to relive concern and communicate that it is not a thing to worry about.

If either one of you has a medical background you can always snap on some gloves and turn it into some kinky medical fetish thing~ LOL~

(I love that gloved finger prostate check~)

And speaking of preventive approach: why don't start with putting a condom and play safe ... ;)

Well actually not too long ago I had a fantastic meeting with an escort in his city which I was visiting for business.

Absolutely gorgeous and sexy man, and during those two hours of sex I heard heavenly bells and saw the Virgin Mary smiling at me!

I had not had sex with anybody else in about 2 weeks previous to my encounter with him.

He is hairy and so am I.

When I came back home, after about 6-7 days I began to feel some bizarre itch in my crotch, and after a couple of days I realized that I had got crabs, or pubic lice... x(

I politely wrote to him asking if by any chance he found out he had the same nasty visitors. While in his city I stayed at a hotel, I told him that it could have been either him or the hotel's bedsheet or toilet, even if it's a very rare way of getting them.

I didn't accuse him of anything, I just asked him as of course this can happen to ANYBODY who is sexually active AND hairy. It had happened to me once before years ago.

He got VERY offended by my email, saying how I dared to jump to those conclusions and blah blah blah.

He calmed down a bit after I replied and explained myself again that there was no accusation or blame of any kind, but anyway he told me he never had crabs in his life and still was pissed.

I found it a bit odd but I had to believe him.

Anyway, it took a good parassite lotion, repeated treatment after a week, and washing and disinfect ALL my clothing, linen etc which could have possibly carried eggs or these nasty nasty little creepy bugs!

I hate to be one to play "top this" but I had a house full of Porn Stars visiting one weekend and ended up in a much worse situation.

One of them slept in my bed for 3 days and without even having sex I contracted Scabies. The trouble is, the dermatologist diagnosed it as "dry skin". Three months later, and two dermatologists later, when the itch became so unbearable I demanded a Biopsy. Guess what?

I can only say, be careful with some of those "models" from Orlando, a lot of them live in a house that has an active scabies problem.

I think that if you are a sexually active (gay) man with multiple partners, escorts or not escorts, you are always going to be possible target of any of these nasty parassites or any (hopefully) less dangerous STD.

Being "more" careful with models from Orlando, Paris, Barcelona or Milan doesn't really take away the possibility to have to go through that.

We should just assume that it CAN happen.

Nasty business, those crabs.

Was on Spring Break once at Padre Island and this TOTALLY straight guy that was my bff at the time got them. We were sleeping in the same bed at the time and I was like, "Hey, Itchy, get the fuck out....."

Then years later, I got them myself. Never forget that phone call. From my boyfriend of 8 years.... and he had mysteriously got them from a toilet seat. Huh... really? Drove up here from OKC with RID in hand to clean me up. And I bought it. His lame ass story, not the RID. Stupid is as dumb as shit does. That's me.

But no such problems with escorts. Clean as a whistle.... well, usually. One or two have been known to forget their deodorant and try to pass it off as their "manscent"..... Many thanks, but no, you stink.

And as for the bumps.... have noticed them more on backs than groins. Thankfully.

Okie

Guest backbaygayguy

When I was living in London as a student in the early 1970s got scabies -- could have been the cheap bedsitters or boyfriends or upholstered chairs in the pubs and dancehalls, who knows. Had never had scabies, had no idea what to expect from the medical establishment. The National Health doctor diagnosed immediately and sent me to a pharmacist. The pharmacist gave me an enormous brown glass bottle of lotion (I swear it must have been a litre!) and said with a friendly smile, "Invite all your friends and have a party, just make sure everyone gets lotioned up." Was pleasantly surprised at the nonjudgmental treatment -- this before gay liberation and me an obvious nelly fag, with my long hair, pierced ears, lots of rings and bracelets -- not exactly a straight soccer lad knockin' up the birds.

Oh sure, my absolute first requirement is always a freshly showered man when I have sex!

And that escort by the way was still wet from the shower and had a slight fresh Softsoap for Men Ocean scent on his body...

But crabs don't really care for Softsoap!

;-)
