Huh? Don't go on craigslist. The cops try to get escorts from there, it's dangerous and for amateurs.

Some profiles belong to underage kids trying to make "friends". The guy's from deadline MSNBC to catch a predator capture guys on craigslits. They can't say it upload, but I have friend who works there and he told me that it's the easiest way to get an IP address.

Entry #459:

Seen on a Craig's List Erotic Services (M4M) post:

I'm your normal guy next store. x(

Of course, it's hard to top my all time fave (pardon the puns):

"I'm very well in doubt."

I've seen guys (in general - not necessarily Cragislist) use the word 'stalky' when what they mean is 'stocky' (i.e. "I like guys with a stalky build.")

One personal profile I saw mentioned that a certain type of guy "threw (him) through the loop."

Then there are the guys looking for a 'discrete' hookup...

>Ah the joys of Public Education!

> No Child taught to think!

I went to public school and I had amazing teachers. We were reading Shakespeare in 5th grade and translating Sartre in 6th. Now, we just need to get rid of this awful No Child Left Behind, stop "teaching to the test" and things will get better.

Hopefully it was a typo (tho x & l aren't anywhere near each other on the keyboard), but let me re-submit this line from an escort's web page:

"Tyler was praised for his role and his ability to elude lust and sensuality on camera with ease."

(Sorry - can't figure out how to bold the key word)

I should have qualified my snitty statement. I was making reference

to the current climate in public education.

I too attended an excellent public school. We were translating

"Clarence the TV Dog" from English to Aramean during recess

the year I attended kindergarten.

It *is* funny, though - we have so many colloquial turns of phrase in English that no one ever questions - we use them all the time without really knowing what we're saying - and we may not see them in print that often, so it's no wonder that people may think they're using a turn of phrase without realizing they're using it wrong, or using the wrong words.

I remember getting caught using the non-existent phrase "for all intensive purposes" in a paper in college. I never questioned that might not be the actual phrase - it sounded like what I had always heard people say, and I obviously understood the gist of what the phrase was supposed to mean, even if the wording I was using made no sense. Nevertheless I was very embarrassed when a friend who was proofreading my paper told me of the mistake, and that what I was intending to say was "for all intents and purposes"... (I've since seen another similar mistake used by others - something called "forcive habit" - which of course should be "force of habit.")

A very funny one I saw on a college paper a few years ago - the use of the phrase "reeking havoc." (Boy, that havoc really smells, lol.)

> Too-shay - Tuchy!

As long as we're on French:

Reminds me of a friend who fancied himself a playwright, despite his horrid spelling. I was reading one of his scripts once, and came across the term "faugh-paugh." (I didn't have the heart to tell him that wasn't right...)

I remember a friend in college who would sometimes say "mercy buckets" as a cute way of saying thank you. I tried to argue with him once that it really should be "mercy buckups" (i.e. a more literal mispronunciation of the French). He looked at me quizzically, and said "but 'buckups' isn't a real word..."

And then there was my dear, well-meaning, over-doting, but absolutely horrifically dumb great-aunt, who used to treat my brother and I (my brother and me?) to meals at Friendly's when we were kids (and always wanted to order us cheeseburgers despite the fact that she and most of her side of the family kept kosher) - this was sometime back in the 70's when quiche was somehow all the rage as a new fad food - and she once suggested that maybe we should try some of those new "kwee-shays"...(not at Friendly's, I assume, lol.)

No lie: I read a batch of essays on "What country would you like to visit for a two week vacation, and why?" There was one perfectly serious essay by someone whose choice was Italy, because he longed to see the Leaning Tower of Pizza.

yes, Craig's List is full of these sorts of things. And lots of guys who seem to think that TYPING IN ALL CAPS will set them apart and get your attention in a good way.

Despite all that you can find some good boys there. I have met a couple of times recently with a guy I met on CL. He charges a good bit more than most guys there do but he has model quality looks and does a good massage and plenty of other things beyond that so I was satisfied. He also seems like a pretty good guy.

I don't know why though that DC's entries are so lacking compared to other parts of the country. Or at least not what I am generally looking for. If you like African American guys with huge dicks I suppose it is a happy hunting ground. But if you like cute/handsome white twinks there's not much choice. The west coast seems to be good for the types of guys I like.

Hmmm. Another product of the Texas educational system under Shrub. Any company which hires those who graduated from TX High Schools from 1990 to 2008 deserves the risks it takes. x(

You first want to be disgusted. Then you ache for the lost potential in those kids.

Thanks a lot, you fucking lamebrained fuckwad. And you know who I mean.
