Good point, and I'm genuinely sorry if he didn't get as many recommendations as he wanted, but I really don't think my little interlude stopped anyone from posting suggestions. Personally, I never mind if threads I start get "hijacked" and move in other directions than I'd intended. As I've said before, I love to learn new things and I love this place the best when opposing viewpoints are expressed. I've changed my mind about certain topics and I've been able to sway others to my view, too. This sounds corny, but I do see life as an eternal growing process.

Maybe I should have started a new thread abut the topic, but chances are he wouldn't have read it. I like to target a captive audience!

Now, come on, guys. Recommend some more traveling smooth masculine escorts for Dan. :)

How the hell did this turn into such a mess? I thought I was asking a simple question. Now, this has turned into a forem for BN and his loyal minions. I never told an untruth about BN. It happened exactly the way I stated earlier. 12 hours before we were to get together, I talked to him and he said everything was all set. 4 hours before the scheduled meeting time, I received an e-mail stating he had to cancel because of a medical condition. No phone call, just an e-mail. It leaves a reasonable person to deduce that the cancelation was anything but a medical emergency. KMEM now says it was a cyst. I just googled cysts and from what I read, they just don't materialize within 12 hours. Regardless, this happened over 2 years ago, it doesn't matter now anyway. He canceled on me and I would not hire him because of it. Simple as that. Please no more about BN, he is a non issue in my book.

:-) :-) :-) :-)

You are from Chicago?

I have two Chicago natives I would highly recommend. I have been with them and have seen them in normal surroudings and I know they are not only str8 acting and masculine, but are very easy to get along with, :) :)especially when travelling.

Do read the reviews in the Chicago area.

Good luck!

A couple of thoughts and observations. You opened "Pandora'a box" when you replied the way you did in the beginning. Obviously a reasonable person would have known from the start that there are people on both ends of the spectrums when it comes to BN. You must have known some history to him or you would not have used the term "loyal minions". Suffice to say that for every so called "minion" who will defend him their are also an equal number of "haters" who have a very strong dislike for him. Knowing this, you added a somewhat detail unfortunate experience you had with him when all you simply had to do is not answer the question or simply say not interested. This would have saved you and others much grief and time away from your orginal purpose of this thread.

Apparently, it was not as big a non issue in your book when you first posted. I don't have a bone nor beef either way as I have never met him. I guess this can be another lesson you learn about posting on this site. If you have nothing nice to say about someone don't say anything at all.....or be prepared for the onslaught of radical thoughts and opinions.

My second thought would be to try Small Town John. From everything I have read he might actually fit your needs.

:) :)

I am willing to let this thread die a natural death. But, Dan, you know things swing both ways. You say you never told an untruth about BN and neither did I and, as far as I know, neither did BN. So, tit for tat; he probably would not accept an invitation from you for a meeting now either. You could always write a bad review of him, oh, wait, you have never seen him, so reviews of things not done are not accepted on this site. Instead you just take pot shots on the MB. Funny when they ricochet.

Regardless,

Best regards,

KMEM

I know I am new to all of this and this is only my second post, but it does not take a rocket scientist to deduce that KMEM is really BN in disguise. BN actually e-mailed me with the exact same statement that KMEM (BN) just supplied here. Coincidence? I think not. Time to get over it Ben, it was over 2 years ago. I guess all things happen for a reason. I guess I should be thanking you for canceling, so, to put it to rest finally, THANK YOU.

Dude....get a hint. I tried sharing some advice with you but you ignored it. When you respond and make accusations you are going to rile people up. If you want this topic to rest like you have stated now 3 or 4 times in this very thread then you need to ignore it. If not, then keep adding your two cents worth and you will probably get someone's plug nickle back. This is not going to die as long as you keep responding. My advice now is let this die and try your topic again on another thread. Or keep this up...but it's not going to rest.

I didn't make an accusation. I simply stated the facts as I knew them. Anyway, this will be the last. Anyone know how to delete the original question? The whole thing was a huge mistake that I now regret making. Thought is was a simple enough question, I was wrong. If it it possible for the author to delete this, let me know.

KEEP THE TRUCE GUYS. This was the ORIGINAL QUESTION:

He Guys, I really need your help again. Just had a not so good weekend with an escort. First of all, let me say I am a very masculine 49yr old male who is 6'2" 230lbs and considered GL. Not all buff, but certainly not fat or obese. Very easy going nice guy who is closeted and occasionally likes to get together with an escort.

My life is very structured and predictable, so I decided to do something spontaneous. Hire an out of town escort for a weekend. I called him, told him all about me and how very important it was that he not be feminine or swishy in ANY way. He sounded a little bit feminine, but assured me he was very masculine. He got great reviews on this site and all said he was a masculine type. (It now makes me wonder what the reviewers call masuculine). Anyway, I pick him up at the airport and BAM. Yes, he was nice looking, but very slight and definitely very feminine. I am sure had he not had coins in his pockets, he would have flown away. Total turn off for me.

Please help me out here. Looking to try this one more time. Looking for a very masculine type. They don't have to be a big bald hairy guy to fit the bill. I want the guy next door, who like me, doesn't set off tinker bells the minute he opens his mouth. I don't like the swishy swagger or the overt hand gestures when making a point. I live in Chicago, but want to hire from out of state for a weekend. A little bit on my type. Think Mario Lopez, The guy from Transporter, That guy Christian from Dancing with the stars, Alex Rodriguez the baseball player, Howie Long, Tom Brady and Tony Romo.

These are the types that turn me on. I know it's asking a lot, but if he liked taking in a ballgame and loved to kiss, he would be ideal.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am starting to give up hope. If there is no such animal out there, let me know that too. Really looking for a straight guy who magically decided to turn gay.

Thank you,

Dan

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Ryan of Phoenix, aka Escortboi. He isn't big and tall but he is definitely masculine, does travel well, judging from the photos on his website, and has consistently got very good reviews.

Dear Dan,

Judging only by the bulk of the sampling, I would definitely take Oklie's advise without hesitation. This man has sampled the best and the worse and even I, when I travel, sometimes decide on duo partners based on his taste and personal experience. Works every time.

It was hard to read about your experience with this escort. As an escort who travels 80% of the time, myself, I am always open to hear if my client is not 100% satisfied with what he is getting. I am sure that a true professional would be willing to hear if you didn't want to go ahead with the session after seeing him. I think negotiating a friendly termination of the session is so much better that going ahead with something that is not going to work for you.

I hope you will succeed in finding that elusive masculine guy, and I hope you guys will have a really good time.
