I guess many have good memories of Rounds. There one could find all the best escorts/hustlers in the city. I especially remember two:

1. Derrick - a tall black guy who also worked as a gym instructor

2. Frankee - a blond guy with a killer smile and body

You rang my bell with the name of Derrick, altho I wasn't sure whether it was that or Derek. If it's who I remember, he was about 6'2" or so, about 3" taller than me, with a very nice figure, not overly muscled but trim and fit and quite handsome. I met him at Rounds sometime in 1987. i met one guy named vincent at the east side sauna in 1982 i was 22 athat time. we went back to my hotel on 6th avenue and fucked like rabits. he told me about rounds . i went there with him, i guess he hang out there a lot, he was about 24 at that time. as i dont live in america i never saw him again.i never went to rounds again, it doesn't even exist anymore. but the east side sauna is still open and some hot guys still go there. does anyone know what happened to the st. marks by the way ??????????

It lasted longer than most, but finally shut down. The Club at 1st and First was the best.

 

And I remember seeing Bette at the Continental. 1971, I think. I guess I'll try to catch her in Vegas. From the Continental to the Colosseum--great career!
