I have to agree with your assesment. Erik's blog certainly reads like a cry for help in many respects. Self absorbed would also be an apt description.

 

Erik is very open about his depression and drug abuse including steriods and meth. He's very down on the porn industry and seems trapped in a vicious cycle.
