I've heard others make inquiries, but it's been a while since I wrote a review. Today's postings, however, make it easy for me to see that all is not equitable when it comes to reviews.

In November, I travelled to Argentina and hired Markos a great guy from Soytuyo -- someone who has not been reviewed here. When I returned, I thought it would be good to write him up. I gave "daddy" all the info including the soytuyo website, Markos' phone etc. I received a confirmation on 12/2. I later received an email asking for Markos' email, which I dont have as he uses Soytuyo for his postings. NOthing further has been sent to me.

Lo and behold today we have reviews 82 and 83 for John from Orlando for meetings in December ... now I've nothing against him, have in fact enjoyed his company ... but do we need 83 reviews that all offer basically teh same info on one guy or do we want to know that there are other quality providers out there?

Seems someone is playing favorites, and it's bringing the reliability and quality of this site down.

I don't know about here but after my recent unpleasant experience with a particular person that we discussed I did finally decide to write two reviews based on my experience. They were both negative. I received the same response from both websites. It went something like this:

"You have submitted a negative review. When a client of our site receives 5 negative reviews then they are published. To date, this client has received 1 negative review, so your review will not be published. It is, however, being forwarded to the client."

Nice. So the guy has to screw over 4 other people and then all 4 have to write about before a single negative review is published. But every time someone writes a positive review it gets published. Clearly, those sites are run for the benefit of the clients of those sites and not for the customers whom the information might help.

As I have mentioned before, I wrote a review for David/SF after our first meeting. I spent alot of time on it. That's because it was very detailed and explicit and because I am a terrible typist, it takes me forever to get one just right. I really wanted to let you guys know what a great escort this guy is. I submitted it and got an error about his email address. I fixed it and resubmitted it. Gone. Lost. Waste of my time.

That makes me tekkie challenged, ok. Just easier for me now to post a few comments in the Deli than to waste my time writing a review that I am obviously not smart enough to submit. That's why you haven't seen one about Elviz Buch.

I have given up Totally, Like you IF an When, something great goes down, I just mention the Guy in the Escort Forum!

Unfortunately for the "Working Guy" involved, not all Reader's of Review's visit our little Oasis of Working Guy knowledge!

Wow that is awful about the negative review.

I have usually had good luck with my possitive reviews being posted.

I have never had the courage or conviction to submit a negative review.

The only odd experience I have had in posting a review was that I tried to post a review for two guys in Chicago, they only work as a set. My review and their ad empasized that point. Yet I received a note from Daddy that they wanted two separate reviews. I have no clue why in that there are other duo reviews. I decided to drop the whole thing. It took me 30 minutes to write the review carefully I was damed if I was going to do it again. What a waste of time.

If I have something negative to say about an escort I will ususally eamil the person requesting info privately. I do this because my negativity is my experience and connection with the escort. Unless the escort is a scam artist than I will go public.

Just because a guy has 82 reviews does not make him the best match in the world. I have been with the guy and chose not to send in a review.

To be absolutely clear, you did NOT receive a response from THIS website saying anything like that.

Just being clear. You do start with "I don't know about here" but follow-on discussion makes it look like guys didn't pick up on that.

That statement does not express Daddy's philosophy or operating model.

(I resisted replying to this thread until I could get him on the phone and ask pointed questions to make sure nothing has changed.)

I suspect the review sites that sent you that message also accept advertising from escorts, judging from their use of the word "client" in describing escorts. This site does not accept advertising from escorts. Escorts are not clients here. Clients are not clients here. Both sides are equal.

The only change Daddy is considering is bumping negative reviews to the top of the queue if they can be verified.

Damn few reviews are rejected for editorial reasons, as you can tell from the lousy quality and lack of detail in many reviews.

Mark,

Please contact me directly in regards to this. It would be especially useful if you could forward the email message with headers to Daddy@DaddysReviews.com.

There are several things about this quote that bother me. First, We do not have such a policy. 2nd we would never refer to a "Escort" as a "Client". 3rd we don't track the number of negative (or for that matter positive) reviews.

All reviews are processed the same. Negative reviews do take longer to process because we do give the escort a chance to respond to the review. But other than that there are many escorts that can testify that even a single negative review can and does go up.

I wrote one of the reviews on Roughscort John (Orlando) which you referenced in your posting. It's the first review I've ever submitted. I put a great deal of time into writing it and tried to be very descriptive and include as much detail as I could, so it’s kind of disappointing for me to hear that people feel it only provided the "same info." (I promise to try to do better next time!)

I'm relatively new on this message board, so I'm not trying to interject myself into the middle of a larger dispute outside of my scope of knowledge, but my suggestion would have been to try to email Daddy a couple of times to get a clear answer as to whether the lack of an email address disqualifies the review. On the review submission page, he does make it clear that they require certain info to verify reviews "because of previous abuse." You said Daddy emailed you requesting Markos' email, but it's unclear if you replied back. In any case, it sounds like Daddy is now addressing your concerns about the process of submitting reviews, so I hope that your review eventually gets posted.

When I first submitted my review, I got an automatic confirmation message, but then saw nothing happen with my review for almost 6 weeks. For escorts that are popular, I know that there's something like a mandatory 30-day waiting period. After waiting more than a month without any reviews posted about Roughscort, I simply emailed Daddy to remind him about the review I sent 6 weeks prior. My review was posted almost immediately thereafter. Sometimes, a friendly reminder in an email is all it takes!

And Okliehomo, I can totally relate to the frustration of writing something which takes a long time and then losing it because of not filling out a form properly. It’s too late now, but I think if you’re writing anything longer than a paragraph, it’s always a good idea to write and edit it in an application like Microsoft Word so you can save it as a separate document, in case you do lose it after hitting the “submit” button. Speaking of which, Roughscort definitely knew how to push MY “submit” button. But I’ve already written way too much about that already!

Finally, a big thanks to Daddy for keeping this site up and running! I've gotten a lot out of reading both the main review site and the message forum.

and once again a thread gets sidetracked. I find it most interesting that Daddy elected to respond to the comment about a minimum number of negatives being required for posting rather than to the initial point about what it takes to get a review for a new person posting, and why my own submission has yet to make it to the board while folks who have extensive reviews have received not one but two postings in that time.

That is bull I have written negative reviews where I was first and they published and then since another negative review was published both of this site and MER

I don't understand this 4-5 negative reviews first???

Sounds fishy to me is someone screening or something

If you read the first few words of my post it says "I don't know about here but .... "

I wasn't talking about Daddysreviews at all and I would have thought that was absolutely clear from the first few words of my post. It was two other sites where I attempted to leave reviews.

Hope that clears that up.

You have had four opportunities so far to clear things up and to share real information. You have chosen not to do so. Why not state which sites you are referring to? Obviously readers would like to know. Just as obviously you have chosen to withhold those sites from the readers for whatever reason.

For the record MER has no such policy regarding 5 negative reviews or four or three or two. Such a policy would do a disservice to clients and readers.

well Daddy replied to my query with "We requested from you a specific URL for him. When someone goes to http://www.soytoyo.com there is nothing there that points to his profile."

folks ... go to soytuyo .. there is an alpha listing of escorts, something american sites end to lack ... but each page does not have an independent URL ... I think the site users can find him if directed to the site ... further, I was requested to submit his email, not his URL

again ... posting of reviews is not equitable, and someone is truly playing favorites

Coming in on this thread at the end...

If the reviews were submitted to two other review sites, why not say which ones in the original message?

There would have been no question then that the review was not submitted to Daddy's site.

I don't understand the reluctance to say what the review sites were.
