Have done the search on this MB and got the idea that there aren't a whole lot of guys there but the posts are all at least a year old. So anyone with a recent update? I'll be in both Honolulu and Maui (near Kihei), and while I will be aiming to relax and doing lots of sight seeing alone, a big warm muscular body one night wouldn't hurt :p

I've scrolled thru the reviews here and other sites and none of them are exciting me at the moment...

And if there are no good escorts, are there at least great masseurs for a sensual one by the beach? Thanks guys.

Unfortunately there are very few in Hawaii. The best options are to look at Craigslist for Hawaii but I would be very cautious about those listings as well but at least there are some options there. I spent a lot of time in Hawaii/Maui this year and there is not much if any at all.

Your best bet in Hawaii is to bring your own.

The islands are very small and everyone who lives there knows everyone else, and everyone knows everyone's bidness. While there is a good deal of islander "whatever" attitude, there is also a good deal of evangelist judgment and angst.

If you want to have a good time in Hawaii you might find it there, but for a sure thing bring it from the mainland.

Having grown up in Hawai'i (2nd grade to college) I would say Deej's comments are pretty correct. On most of the Islands it does seem like everyone knows each other. "You goin da airport? My antie stay da ticket agent. She da one get da kine. Ask if she like go Kimos house fo dinner"

But the Island of O'ahu (City and County of Honolulu) is almost a million people and Honolulu for it's size (400,000 urban, 900,000 metro area) is I think pretty cosmopolitan.

In spite of the large Mormon presence and missionary history I don't think there is much of an evangelical attitude. People are just to laid back for that. But it is definitely conservative morally yet one of the most liberal states politically. Hawai'i consistently votes democratic, although for the first time in many years they have a republican governor. But she is a Jewish woman. Hawai'i was the first state to ratify the ERA but is one of only two states (the other being Utah) that have no legalized gambling not even a lottery. But Hawai'i has also been a pioneer in near-universal health care.

It might not be hard to find a hustler on the street in Waikiki but there does seem to be a paucity of guys advertising.

Anybody remember Hotel st from the old days? I was only a kid at the time but I was fascinated by the bits of Hotel st. I'd see on the way to my dads favorite restaurant in Chinatown. Street walkers, drag queens, and all manner of characters coming out from what I later learned was a bathhouse.
