Mark hasn't posted on Rentboy I think in about a year--how were you able to find that link to an old ad? (Anyone else is free to answer).

Google the phone number listed in Mark #3's reviews and the old Rentboy listing appears. Or at least that's how I found it.

The bottom line on the internet for anyone should be ... nothing ever truly "disappears." You can disable an ad but the links will always be there if someone has them from before. A simple search will also find them.

 

Just like e-mail after you delete it ... it's still always there ... somewhere ... floating around.

However, that assumes that one saw Oliver's original post and knew what had been removed (which I assuming was the Rentboy link).

 

I didn't see the original post, so it's quite possible Steven didn't either. I know that Steven has tried to be helpful to me in the past regarding one of my inquires, so I have no reason to believe that he wasn't trying to be helpful here as well. Sometimes a kind gesture is just that a kind gesture...without sinister ulterior motives attached.

Gman.Your right the AD now is OLD! Mark is not concerned in the Old Rentboy AD floating around here. His Great Reviews and HUNKY Bod Shot are still working quite well for Him around here!...They have not and at this time will not, be taken down! BUT due to his Day Job..He No Longer wants his Face shown!

 

Any Working Guy who Posts links showing other Working Guys "Faces"..when they have NEVER shown there's and has been asked "nicely" to remove it, due to the Rentboy AD being discontinued shows a lack of integrity, when he just chooses to give advice and not do what was asked very nicely! I doubt anyone can disagree with this.

Actually JT, when I Googled the number yesterday, I did retrieve a link for Rentboy. It was a slightly different version of Mark's old Rentboy ad than the one in Steven's link, as the text was slightly different. I would not have written what I posted had that not been the case when I posted it.

 

However, I did Google the number again earlier today and no longer got the Rentboy link. I didn't even get the link to the reviews. The fact that Google did not produce the same results as yesterday is WAY beyond my control or technical expertise. But it doesn't change the fact that it happened.

 

The Good Google giveth and The Good Google taketh away...I guess.

First of all I'm not a mind reader. There are a few smart ways that come to mind when dealing with privacy issues and removing pictures but no one consists in coming here and screaming like a school girl, JT.

Troy's reviews are very positive and are consistent with what I experienced 2 years ago. But the stat card on his [a href=http://www.rentboy.com/location/getrb.asp?rentboy=118708&Location=121]current rentboy ad[/a] states "Body Type:Few Extra Pounds", which was already true back then (before he started advertising that fact). If that body type works for you, you should have a great time.

The Guy does get an A for Honesty!

 

You rarely see that statement used! A "few extra pounds" usually doesn't come up til you see the guy Face to Face! A few pounds can go anywhere from 5 to 25!

 

IMHO.... I'd stick to the many Great Recommended Choice's you now have or you will find yourself in the.. TOOOO many choice's can't make my mind up category! LOL

 

2 Great Overnite's... is definitely better than what could be 1 Long Dull Weekend!
