Well, DC is known as a city of bottoms. Most of the escorts I know of in the area are either not masculine or have a face that would stop a bus.

I find it curious how some say DC is a city of bottoms. I wish every city would be this way. But in reality I find tops outnumber bottoms significantly based on the ads on Rentboy.

I'll be very honest with you - I've been in DC all of my life and most of the escorts that advertise on Rentboy in the DC area I wouldn't even consider hiring because most are definitley not my type.

In DC, based on my experience, versatile means versatile bottom at best (usually bottom), versatile top usually means versatile and most of the tops that advertise as tops either can't get it up or are from out of town.

 

In my experience there have been a lot of Marines that have escorted in DC to earn extra money - many of them advertised as tops, versatile tops or versatile. Out of the 25 or 30 marines I've hired as DC escorts, all but three or four of them were total bottoms that were into bottoming big time, basically begging to get fucked hard, deep and fast - including a number of the "tops". Only two of those Marines were interested in topping and both of them bottomed for me also even though they were "top only" and had never bottomed. I'd be willing to bet I wasn't their first top - not with as easily as they bottomed.

That has been over the years (many years). At one point, one of the agency had about 8 military men that were doing escorting on a regular basis.

I would agree with the other posters recommending Scott who is also coverboy of the day today (10/30). I have found the pickings for tops not too bad here if you are willing to extend your search to men of color, Latin, mixed races etc, but even then pickings are limited.
