ANOTHER ESCORT USING FAKE PICTURES Vol 1

I'm gonna start posting here everytime I find an escort using someone else's pictures, when I can prove they are someone else's pictures. This is one of my great pet peeves.

This Marcelo has used Thierry's pictures before. I wrote to Thierry who wrote to Marcelo who stopped for a while but is back to doing it again.

I think this a good forum to let people know: buyer beware!

I think Dick you are doing a great service. Contacting the escort whose picture is being used is great. However, escorts who I have contacted regarding the theft who then in turn contact the thief say that many times the thief simply ignores them and the website where it is posted does not care.

So the best option I think is to post the culprits here and shun them or buyer beware. to bad we can not have a tab for all known escorts to scam, steal pictures and alike. Sort of like the Bad Check lists (yes some people still use checks unfortunately) you see at checkout lanes. "Buyer Beware" tab.

If Marcelo Marsko is a porn star wouldn't you think he could drag up a couple of photos of himself.

Don't the website owners deserve some of the blame if they are alerted to a scam and do nothing about it?

Tony Trapp who is an escort and frequents the MC from time to time also runs an escorting website http://www.themalenude.com/ Tony does an excellent job. I saw an escort in Toronto several years back. The guy was using a picture that was not his. When I saw the escort there was no resemblence at all. (He was using a picture of an escort in Europe).

Anyways I sent Tony and email explaining that escort was not the guy in the pictures. Tony then called me on the phone, then called the escort on the phone and then called me back and explained to me how he handled the situation. That escort still advertises, but now uses his own pictures, which I can varify are his. So I really have nothing but good words to say about Tony's web site.

One very nice thing about his web site is that when you look above the escort, it shows the last time his add has been updated.

Dick this is a great service you are providing. But I do have one question for you though. Unless you have seen the escort in person or maybe someone else how can you know for sure who's pic belongs to who? It could (maybe a small chance) become a game of he said he said. But I do like the idea of exposing scammers. GO GET 'EM!

Greg that is a very valid point that you are making. I have seen adds where several escorts using the same pictures, and if a person hasn't met any of them then who's doing the stealing?

I ran into this problem with two Clients actually... One guys was using my pix to make post cards and prints out of and selling them to people. Another guy was a Client but using my pix on his own ad on Manhunt in SF.

I've people inform me that other Escorts had used my pix. I don't make a big dael out of it... I write them and ask them to stop. They do and we both move on. Two guys I offered to take pic of them for them and that worked out nicely. They were originally using my pix as starter pix since they did not have any. They had similar bod types to me. I don't condone using other's pix. Both Escorts and Clients should represent themselves accurately.

As I said in my original post "when I can prove they are someone else's pictures". Only when I can prove it, will I do it.

A couple of months ago I asked if anyone knew this guy. Someone here pointed out that these pictures where of a well known porn actor (and he included a link to the porn actor's pictures). I don't know if Ben is the porn actor, escorting under a different name, but that bit of information told me to stay away from him. To me, this is valuable information.

In the case of Marcelo-Thierry, I know Thierry. Those are his pics. Also, Marcelo changes his pictures quite often. It seems every week he has different pictures.

When I hired Jay a few years ago in Los Angeles I was shocked that the guy who walked in the door looked NOTHING like his posted photos on Rentboy. He was OK looking, but not the guy I thought I was hiring. I was looking for hot...not OK. I think posting info about fake pics is a great idea!

I got the following info from someone posting about craigslist scammers. It looks pretty conclusive, however, I would think that as many different places this escort has placed ads, that someone would have posted a review or a post in the forum about him.

He's not ugly, but he's certainly not as hot as the guys' pics he steals to use in his ads. You'll notice this guy's various aliases all have the same stats: 6'0", ~155 pounds, 19-22 yrs old.
