I was cruising the ads in Los Angeles and came across Derek Brodie/Brodie Sinclair. I've seen him on Jake Cruise and on Falcon's site. His rate $1500.00/hr Wow.

Maybe he attended school in Brazil? That's the only way that English that fractured is allowed. When you ain't from this country and can't get the tenses right, or the spelling or the punctuation, you have an excuse. Truly, how's your Portugese? Mine, not so good. Not even sure if I spelled that correctly, let alone try to speak it....

I'll bet Brodie (are Derek) would be a delightful dinner companion and "conversationalist"....God knows, that's what I look for in an escort....

And at a mere $1500 per hour, no less....

Upscale? More like insane.

Okie

One may ask whatever one wishes. Whether or not one gets what one asks, however, is an entirely different matter.

I must admit that I am somewhat curious to know if there are guys out there willing to pay that price. The one thing that I do know for certain is that I'm NOT one of them.

Portuguese isn't this guy's native language, either. The mistakes in his Rentboy ad aren't the ones a Portuguese speaker would make. I'd venture that he's from another planet. . .

I've seen him at the gym here in NYC. Maybe it's worth it for him to do the hour at that price, otherwise he wouldn't bother. But I certainly wouldn't bother. Not even for $150/hour.Just not my sort.

I wonder how much the guys make for porn sites like Jake Cruise and Sean Cody? I remember a couple who also escorted, and they posted in LA (Dylan, a straight-identified bi boy was one of them) and none of them had price points this high.

He's been on so many websites in the past couple years that he always elicits moans and groans in the comment section (most of which compare him to a caveman). Latest I've read is that the studio "Raging Stallion" signed him as an "exclusive" (which elicited moans, groans, and laughter as he's been featured on every website except the Drudge Report, and as his ad implies, he doesn't do much of anything but pose and preen.) I've read he was from Texas, and his area code is for the Austin area. More power to him if he can stretch his 15 minutes to 16.

>Perhaps he meant $1500 per day?

No - the Rentboy ad said $1500 PER HOUR.

I thought the tats were bad when he was in Longboard and on Randy Blue but the first picture shows they are even worse now (several new ones).

I personally don't like tatoos and, in general, they tend to turn me off. I just don't understand why someone would want to deface their body like that (yes, that's my opinion, I think the vast majority of tatoos are disgusting).

I love the picture with the dogs on the beach. Oh wait a minute, there are two pit bulls and Brodie not THREE DOGS.

He kind of looks like a pit bull...

Not in this millenium, the next millenium or ever.

He must need the $1500 for crack because he must be high on it...

le_whore - you said not for $150? Not for $1.50. He couldn't pay me.

Oh my gawd! Is this the guy who's on the box cover of a Falcon video called LONGBOARD? He's mildly hot on that cover (nothing extrordinary) but when I rented that vid I was bowled over by how BORING his scene was! He couldn't possibly have looked less interested. A 'stiff' performance in the worst sense of the word! If he's that lifeless on camera, recorded for posterity, I doubt he'd be much better in real life.

My viewing of recent Falcon releases - and that one in particular (LONGBOARD) - has me wondering what the hell happened to that once great studio!

For me there's a tipping point for when a guy has too many tattoos and this guy reached that a while ago. One or two can be kind of sexy but when that much skin is covered by such lousy artwork it becomes a turn off. I do find it funny how the porn studios will attempt to cover up some of the more hideous artwork from time to time.

There was a time when tattoos and piercings were an expression of nonconformity. For decades having a tattoo meant just a hint of being a bad boy (ok thug), rock musician, sailor, or whatever. Now, with so many people getting them, and at least two cable network shows devoted to the art form, they are nothing more IMHO than the ultimate expression of conformity.

Over time tattoos fade and lose their color, usually 20-30 years, with all these guys in their 20's who've decided to express their conformity there are going to be some awfully ugly looking tattoos around in a couple of decades. Just picture the nursing homes in about 40 years with all these men and women with these hideously faded tattoos shuffling around on their walkers, scary and funny.

As to this guy’s rate, from the neck down he's not too bad to look at physically (despite the tattoos) but his attitude certainly shows through. He would have to pay me the $1,500 an hour to suffer his presence. :+

The founder of Falcon, Chuck Smith, died a few years back. It's pretty clear the new ownership lacks his eye for talent and understanding of the market.

That would be Chuck Holmes.

I'd say the downward spiral they've been in has more to do with John Rutherford's departure than anything else. Chuck Holmes had little to do with the production process for several years, concentrating on philanthropy instead. Rutherford had been running the show.

Falcon was operated as a non-profit until shortly after Holmes' death. Income went to the Holmes Foundation, which backed (among other things) the LGBT Center in SF. Rutherford left about the time they were making the transition to for-profit status.

Officially, Rutherford "retired" but within weeks of leaving Falcon he'd bought COLT and brought that company out of the ashes. He's never said anything about leaving Falcon, but you do the math.

Raging Stallion's Exclusives are anything but exclusive. They're free to work for other companies/websites/whatever, but RS gets approval.

I don't see this as a good match for them at all, but Chris Ward has made a silk purse from a sow's ear before. Never say never. *shrug* If they can't get decent performances from him, I see a future as a fisting bottom. (That IS Ward's specialty as a producer, ya know.)

Deej, thanks for the correctionn. I got my Chuck's confused. And I agree, Colt has risen from the ashes while Falcon has gone downhill.
