Anyway, there is a great Brazilian escort site, male and female, named chantily.com.br that has many escort listings and as a member (about 10 bucks a month) each escort has their own video, about a minute or so, that is available for viewing that has the guy giving his contact number and doing a little striptease and usually jacking-off or showing their "boomboom", depending on their selling point. I agree that there's not likely to be any competition with this site. I mean, I can come here and read current and archived reviews of an escort, at my leisure, for free or I can go to your site and 'chat' (with other people) with a single escort for an hour for $20!

 

It's an interesting idea, but the cost is too high (it's not much more than the monthly renewal fee at Falcon, where you can have 1-2 live chat/show per week) and the benefit too marginal, in my opinion...

No I am not getting a cent in terms of an actual check, however I do think this is something that would be a positive for you the client and that is my primary reason for doing it. There are lots of things that are more than $20, but there are (still) lots of things I can do for fun in an hour that are cheaper. As for the travel insurance analogy, I buy travel insurance after I've put my money down for the trip, not before.

 

My point is that paying around $20 to watch/participate in an hour-long chat session where I'm one guy in (what you hope will be) a crowd isn't really going to affect my hiring decision any more than what info I can gather from an escort's ads, reviews, 'web presence', and direct contact via phone/e-mail. Let's be more specific by using a few examples.

 

Example A:

 

There's an escort I've been interested in for a while now, let's call him V. Now V has a number of reviews on at least 2 sites, with some of those reviews coming from 'known' reviewers with similar tastes to mine. V's also participated on message board(s) I frequent and he's got a number of ads with fairly new pics on them. From all of this, I can deduce that V does well in satisfying his clients and is likely a good candidate if he's in my neighbourhood or vice-versa.

 

So how does watching a chat session make a difference in my decision to hire V? From his reviews I know that he's not disappointing in his looks or attitudes; from his ads I see his pics being updated and from his posts, I can see he takes communication/openness seriously. Paying $18-20 to see him answer questions/interact with me/others 'live' or 'archived' isn't going to provide me with enough extra info to be worth it.

 

Example B:

 

There's a new kid on the block, X. X has just put up a bunch of ads that have caught my attention, he's close by, but there are no reviews yet. Normally, I'd either decide to await a review, or to contact him directly to set up a short 'get-acquainted' session before going for the kind of longer session that I prefer. Understand that if I go the latter route, I'm communicating my desires and expectations clearly and I'm weighing his responses carefully and if I get a bad 'vibe', or he doesn't look as advertised when we meet, then it's no deal.

 

Again, waiting for X to do a chat session isn't really going to tip the scale in this case. Either I'm willing to 'take a chance' on a new guy, or I'm not. Sure, a chat might show me that he resembles his pics, but if he's a 'scam' he's likely going to ask for money upfront, or show-up looking like someone else, in which case the session doesn't go ahead anyway. In other words, if I feel I need to wait for a scheduled chat session to provide me with 'reassurance' about X, then it stops being a spur-of-the-moment' thing and I'm going to hang on to my dough to use on an escort that I know (either through experience or careful 'research') will show me a good time!

 

So whether I'm 'careful-research guy' or 'impulsive-hiring guy', it doesn't seem like this kind of site/feature is worth the time/money for many (if not most) potential clients.

 

In fact, this strongly reminds me of those escorts who put up pay/membership sections on their websites with additional photos and info, etc. I never paid for those either, for the same reason, if I can't make a good enough evaluation of an escort's honesty, reliability and compatibility from his reviews, ads/profiles and e-mail/phone contacts, then a pay section or pay-for-chat session isn't going to make the difference for me.

 

Now, maybe I'm wrong (it does happen, from time to time ) and this will take off and be the biggest thing since HooBoy, but since the OP asked for comments, mine is that I wouldn't lay good odds on that happening...

I think we are being a bit harsh on new idea. Whether the cost justifies it, the market will determine that. I have always like the idea of escorts participating on this forum because it gives us a chance to interact with the escort and get to know him better. I think this will add to that as we will have a voice to put with it.

I agree. So far, the responses seem to come from those who do not want to participate in the new site, but that doesn't mean that it isn't something new that the promoter shouldn't try. For some of the reasons already mentioned, I have my doubts about whether it will be successful, but then I dismissed the personal computer and iPod when they were introduced.

I understand where you are coming from, but some of us hire more based on long term communications - rather than paying $20 for an hour video chat.

 

I am a relative newbie to hiring a companion/escort. Only have hired two so far, and just begun to chat with two others that I have interest in.
