Well, I don't want to start a war here, the "so over" was just my preference. I'm 30 minutes from an airport that has an overnight flight directly to Sao Paulo (and an overnight non-stop back) and I myself find SP less dangerous than Rio and far more preferable a destination (for me because I've been there so many times). And I'll keep quiet about how I feel about the thought that these guys are so "inexpensive" - these guys have much higher rates than in the saunas - (300R per hour, or 150 US dollars) and they are worth it. I'm sick of hearing "in the saunas you pay 50R per guy....") You won't find Wendel or Igor in the saunas (or wanting to meet "foreigners" from the US if you're looking to pay sauna rates.)

I think a while back we shared a certain blonde model "common interest" down there in Sao Paulo, who has since moved on in life out of escorting there but is still a friend, and much of my opinion of the sauna-scene is colored by his opinions of it. If you love some of the Brazilian porn DVDs that get released here in the US and recognize the guy on one of these escort sites, it's always sort of exciting to arrange to see them in person - and you're best bet for finding them is a site like "malicia" (or "contatos" or "chantily"....)

Me, I've always preferred a new escort in my hotel room and not elsewhere, probably a comfortability or control issue. And if there is some problem like something very valuable stolen (never happened to me) - you have the guy's pic and phone number, and they're registered with the agency. Maybe that's why you were told the locals use the same sites - it probably is a safety thing. What I don't get is that the most popular escort sites have very little when it comes to Rio (if any guys listed at all).

 

I have a friend who's a local and has a car and there are well known centrally located streets in SP with "lover boys" standing left and right and my god is it tempting.
