DC is one tough market to find a locally available top. It's a running joke on this board, and others, that DC is the capitol of bottoms. I'd put it this way...a top in Washington, DC is a tourist. That's why you will find many of the traveling guys who specialize in being a top have DC on their circuit.

 

That said, I have this suggestion. There are a few guys in Baltimore that do travel to DC, it's almost one market in some respects. Also look into the traveling guys that will be in town over your client's dates.

 

Based on what you have listed as the criteria you might want to check in with Rock. He's listed in the review section and I think he's been reviewed elsewhere. Note that he has a couple of different names that he works under but I can't recall those. Check his web site for details.

Tell me about it. I've lived here all my life and it's been this way for a long time.

 

When I first started hiring I was top only and certainly didn't have trouble finding bottoms or versatile guys (that turned out to be mostly pig bottoms so I doubt they rarely topped). Then when I learned how to bottom, I would get somewhat frustrated trying to find guys that really knew how to top but it wasn't impossible.

 

Just about every decent top either retired or ended up wanting to bottom more than top.

 

Now it's really hard to find a guy that wants to top that's the typical all-american type. The thing that is even more frustrating is that it seems that versatile in DC means bottom. Versatile top seems to mean 50/50 top and bottom if you can find one that will bill himself that way. Mostly it's out-of-town escorts that are top, versatile tops or versatile that really get into topping.

You got that right. I have lived here for 17 years and it seems to have gotten progressively worse over that time. That's why so many of the traveling guys are tops/versatile. As I stated earlier, a top in Washington, DC is a tourist.

I don't know why. The quality of escorts in DC (including all of the bottoms) is, for the most part, absolutely terrible.

 

Even the ones that are 99% bottom that I have hired in the last couple of years are not very good as bottoms. In general, the attitude of DC based escorts is not particularly good. I have found that escorts in NYC, Philly or visiting escorts are more prone to care about the customer and truly attempt to satisfy the customer. Not so with most of the locals.

 

Just as an example, a number of years ago Tops had a guy working for them that was absolutely drop-dead gorgeous. He had brown hair, green eyes, moderately hairy chest, kissed like a dream, gave amazing head, was over 8 inches and thick and always rock hard, and was what I would describe as a versatile top. Body was very toned and muscular without being overdone with washboard abs. I saw him around 15 times and he was an aggressive, enthusiastic top in every session (including several three ways) and bottomed for me around 4 times. When he bottomed, he was an enthusiastic bottom and one of the best I have ever been with. He moved out of the area and disappeared for about 3 years.

 

He came back to the area and Tops told me he was back. I saw him with another escort and was totally shocked when I saw him. Multiple tats (mostly ugly), freaky haircut, flabby and out-of-shape body, close trimmed chest hair (what a turnoff - leave the chest hair if you have it) and couldn't get hard and told me it really didn't matter because he topped on very rare occasions now. He bottomed for me and the other escort (badly for both of us) and had no inclination to top that night (not that I would have wanted to bottom for him anyway).

 

Just an example as to how bad the escort scene is her in DC. He should have never been escorting with as out-of-shape as he was and his inability to perform.
