I recently discovered that the place i was going to be staying in NYC is no longer avaliable, any ideas or opinions on decent places to stay? I will also be taking incalls now that i will be getting a hotel. To remind people i will be there from the 14th-20th of December. Hope to hear from you.

I stay at the Best Western President Hotel when I'm working in NYC. It's on 234 W. 48th st. It's pretty clean and comfortable, and has free wifi which is hard to find in NYC. Also, it doesn't have security on the elevators, so you don't have to meet your clients in the lobby. Hope that helps! :)

I've stayed at On the Ave several times and been very satisfied. It's at Broadway and 77th, not crazy expensive (for NYC), and the staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms can be quite small, though nicely decorated. Visitors can come up to the rooms on their own, without being escorted up.

Check all the Hotel Price's very well. This is probably the most Expsensive Time to visit NYC for a Hotel Stay also....

Even though being a distance from Midtown-Downtown MAY be a Help with the cost, without the Convenience of Midtown, you might not be making enough "Contacts" for your "Overhead"...

Most of the Guy's who visit this Time of the Year have their NYC Regs, who do at least cover their Visit and other Exspenses.

:p :P :p

I know I know, but i wasnt planning on having to pay anything for hotels because I had a friend allowing me to stay there, but things have changed and someone else will be there so I wont be allowed to stay and I just found this out last night. So im kinda in a bind with the whole situation.

I don't know your personal situation but if this is your first "working" trip to NYC, and you don't have a hotel lined up by now, I think unless you already have a good half dozen CONFIRMED appointments (maybe less if you have evening or overnights already scheduled), I would bail out. Whenever I make a trip to NYC I book the hotel at the same time as I book the flight.

NYC (Manhatten) is expensive at any time of the year and the leadup to Christmas especially so as extra demand is placed on all the attractions on offer.

I also saw on your notice in Escort Travels that you intend to use public transportation in LA. I think this is a non-starter from my experience getting around that city. I think your best option would be to stay in West Hollywood and do incalls or outcalls with travel premium to cover taxi or limo expenses.

Just my 2 cents worth. And good luck whatever you decide. ;-)

I planned a trip to New York in December on Quickbook when I realized that hotel prices drop significantly starting on Sunday, December 17th.

Unless you have confirmed client bookings for December 14-16, you might want to rethink this trip.

Hotel rates are outrageous in NYC this time of the year. I'll be finding myself in NYC in mid December but I refuse to pay $500 a night for a hotel room and I'm going to use my points for this stay. Good luck in finding the right place, Brett.

"Soccer..It just might not be your time for a NYC Visit!"

JT: Shame on you! You just invited Soccer to stay at your fabulous Brooklyn home and now you're telling him not to come. What's up with that? No room in the Inn? :-)... This is the most exciting time of the year to visit NYC. If Soccer played tennis I'd invite him to stay with me. :-)

WTF does tennis have to do with things lol ? And i do play tennis. I can afford a hotel, im not like most escorts i dont travel to make money, i just dont see that as an intelligent way to live as u can stay home and escort making as much money depending on where ur from, I travel because i want to go to that specific place, and I escort because its a way to make money, PLEASURE BEFORE ESCORTING ALWAYS, its just the way I handle things ;). But I cannot just change my flights because even if i dont stay in NYC i have to go someplace, and I cannot stay home bc home is a dorm and they kick us out, and im 19 so this hotel policy of being 21 isnt any good lol

"....im 19 so this hotel policy of being 21 isnt any good."

Is this a new policy? I thought all you needed was a credit card to book. For years, dancers at the Gaiety stayed at local Times Square Hotels and either paid cash or used a credit card. Many were under 21.

If I were you, I'd double check this "policy".

Out to Soccerjock....

I just called the Super 8 at 59W 46th St. in the Times Square area. They have rooms available from the 14th-16th at $239 a night and $109 a night from the 17th to the 20th. The number is 1-800-800-8000. There is no age policy, just book using a credit card. Rooms are going fast, so if you're interested give them a call.

Hope this help,

Coop

You may want to consider staying at a youth hostel in the city. They aren't the Hilton, but most are clean, warm, and most cater to the 18-35 crowd. Many have places to lockup valuables, and have a come and go as you please policy. You can usually get a decent one for under $40.00 a night. Just a thought.
