I had a good experience with Kevin. He is moderately tall with a slim "swimmer's build" type physique. I have the impression that Kevin Slater is pretty open about the fact that he will bareback if the client desires that. I also believe he only holds himself out as a top exclusively. Now I know tops can become infected with HIV through bareback sex although it is less likely. Not non-existent risk, however. On the other hand anyone engaging his services as a top can request that he use a condom.

 

Since we have to assume that everyone we have sex with other than in a monogamus relationship could be infected with HIV, then I don't see what the issue is. I know there are other STDs to be leary of and barebacking increases the risks of transmission of some of these diseases. Tops can get infected, the odds of infection are greater for a bottom, but we're talking odds, not absolutes--and certainly tops can get STDs.

 

My understanding is that Slater has been coy about saying he'll bareback with clients, although he's made bareback videos and has a "prefer not to say" about that in his "rentboy" ad.
