Escorts Changing Names

What do you think when an escort changes names in his ad? There is one escort in NY that was using one name or other with misleading photos. When I got to his place and saw that he did not resemble the photos, I left. Then some time later a new ad appeared with new photos and, when I phoned it was the same guy. (I remembered the address.)

 

On the other hand, I saw an escort a couple of months ago and all was great. He was better than his photos. Then a new ad appeared, with a new name, but his same photos. Then another ad appeared with another new name and the same photos. I saw him again, all was great, but I found it odd.

 

Any thoughts?

I've heard stories from Guy's at least in NYC, who do run across the Occasional Stalker. So changing Names-Photo's etc will work Basically.

 

But as far as the usual Scammer's go, that's part of their MO....

I generally assume that the guys who change names are trying to escape a bad reputation.

I read a review on an escort...forget his name, but he was from Toronto, and after the review he changed is name. I think it was a guy from South America

There are many reasons an escort might change his name. I know of one who had a steady relationship but was escorting on the side. When the partner found out, there was big trouble. Wanting to keep his partner and the escorting cash, this escort changed his name and decided only to work out of town. That way, the suspicious partner was unlikely to see his ads. One would assume that if the partner saw the pictures, the jig was up, but so far, I still see this escort's ads in a variety of cities.

Some of the guys who are not necessarily "aware" of the business (including this site and others like it) have told me they use different names on various advertising sites and in various cities they visit to keep track of which marketing brings in business. If they get a lot of calls for "Mark" but not much for "Fred", they probably won't pay for "Fred" when renewal comes up.

 

This makes perfect sense when they're unaware that clients may raise red flags over multiple names. These guys are in fact doing something we clients have said over and over again we appreciate: they're being professional and organized.

 

And then there's the other end of the scale, and we've seen plenty of those over the years. The guys that don't think they'll get caught always are, and still think they won't be.

 

Using multiple names is not, alone, a cause for concern. It CAN be a cause for concern, but it can also be smart marketing in action.

 

It's up to the reader to be aware and be smart, and not think with the little head.

....there is a guy on rentboy (ny) who has several ads up simultaneously on the first few pages...leonardo, bruno,etc...times square location...also, omar in ny has a second ad up with the name 'mike'.. pics look very different, and phone numbers are different.i guess the multiple identities must bring more business...but it can be confusing and disappointing when you think you are going to see someone new and it is someone you hired before and chose not to hire again...keeping track of phone sometimes helps, but not always...i would have posted links but don't know how and am too impatient to learn...apologies

best..Yes There have been some Classic War Stories, about Guys setting something up with Someone, who turns out to have been, Someone else knocking at their door, the Month before!

 

But I think that usually "might" happen in a Major Market like NYC etc..

 

Some Working Guys just feel their AD is getting stale!

 

Truth be known... some have gotten very Stale! LOL :P

Slightly off topic but in a similar vein....I met up with an escort who was just starting escorting in Toronto..he was from New Foundland. Great guy, but his body type was not quite what I wanted...but I still had a great time. So anyways, I see another escort add that interests me, so I send him an email, and may have chatted on the phone. He too was starting escorting, and was from New Foundland. Anyways, he told me the apartment number and address. The apartment number seemed familiar, and when I arrived, it was the same place where I met the other escort. Neither of these guys knew the other was an escort, and both were taking in calls. When I saw the second escort, I let the cat out of the basket by telling him that it was interesting to find two escorts sharing the same apartment... he was quite surprised..... I guess I should have asked for a three way... it would have been good, because both guys are versatile....

Back in the pre-Internet days of the 1980s, when one depended entirely on print ads, I actually hired the same escort five times from ads in which he used different names, in more than one city. The first time it happened he insisted so strongly that we had never met before that the experience was kind of tense, and the next time he pretended he didn't recognize me, so I just went along with it and pretended I didn't recognize him either. The next time we both burst into laughter, and the last time we both just rolled our eyes in amusement.

best..No Doubt in my mind. That's ONE of the reason's I am sure, at least Some of the Working Guys I know, who Have quite a few Married Clients in NYC....That will remain Married! It's The lesser of 2 Evils...
