A month ago I started planning a trip to Winnipeg for last weekend. I decided to use an escort service called the Gay Cavalier. I had told them a month ago that I wanted a younger escort around 20 years old. They told me that they had three, and gave descriptions of the men over the phone, so I told them at that time who I wanted. I then gave them a confirming phone call a week before going to Winnipeg, because I wanted the escort to know that I would be interested in an over-night session. I then called them Friday evening when I arrived in Winnipeg, with room details etc. They said they would call me Saturday, and let me know when he would show up. They were supposed to call at 5:00 and when they did not I called them. The escort I had chosen did not return their calls, so he was unavailable. They then said they could send another escort that would be brunette hair and 22 years old. Being easy going, I said fine, and he can come when he is ready. I then had a return call and they said he was on his way.

The person arrived about ten minutes late and then told me he wanted to talk first. I menition that I wanted him for the night, and he said it would be impossible becuase he was stripping that eveing, and was headed there after a session with me. He insisted that we chat for the first hour, which we did and he was looking at his watch every five minutes. During the first hour he phoned out to supposedly his driver....he then got a several phone calls on my hotel room phone, and chatted probably 15 minutes or so. I mentioned to him that I was paying for his time. So he said he'd give me a massage.. of course he didn't even take his pants off for that....which by the way lasted five minutes, he then wanted me to give him one, so he finally took is pants off and I massaged his back for five minutes and then started to hug him.... after a couple of minutes of hugging he told me he had to leave, and if I gave him a tip he would come back later after he finished stripping.....well that did not happen.

I spent 400 dollars for nothing... a cheap HUSTLER. I was shocked at my treatment, by this guy, and then called the escort service in the morning. I should have called them in the evening, but did not because I took this guy at his word...big mistake.

I called Gay Cavalier in the morning going over the details etc. By the way.. they guy who they sent was 27 not 22, which really doesn't matter but it gives a person an idea about agreements, made with this service. I asked them to have the owner or manager to call me and try to resolve the issue, and they have not. I could go into more details about what happend, but just want to let you know how I was treated by the GAY CAVALIER in Winnipeg Manitoba.

So if anyone decides to go to Winnipeg Manitoba Canada, I would strongly suggest, you stay away from the Gay Cavalier.

I used to live near Toronto, and have written several good reviews on great escorts I had great times with, and actually keep in contact with two of them even though I live more than 1,000 miles away now.

Welcome to the message center with your first post. It obviously sounds like you had a really less than desireable experience. Let me suggest that you write up a formal review and submit that to the site. You can also give the name of the escort and the agency and the details you have already provided here and maybe a bit more.

 

Your experience is a very frustrating one and at one time or another just about every client has a similar story. Thanks for the heads up about Gay Cavaliere and perhaps there are others out there with smilar expereinces with this agency.

I hope this does not sound too cynical but as soon as I heard "Winnipeg" I expected the worst.

 

I lived there for 10 months, several years ago - believe me when I say it felt more like 10 years.

 

It is truly a cultural wasteland. The only arts related activity is the Winnipeg Ballet - and they are so good that they are never there, always on tour.

 

I found the gay life to be close to nonexistant and as winter extends from October to March it's too bloody cold to even cruise.

 

I think the very name "Gay Cavaliere" would have raised some alarm bells for me. It just sounds back room sleazy.

 

I'm sorry you had such a poor experience - no one deserves to be treated like that.

 

I found the best bet to enjoy a bit of civilized gay life from Winnipeg was to take weekend jaunts to Minniapolis - only about 500 miles if memory served me. One hour by plane and well worth it.

Thanks for the replys. Its extremely frustrating living in a small town in NW Ontario. I think I will head to Minneapolis and actually email an escort or two before going there. Escorts in Toronto are great, and I still keep in contact with two of them, however the one is not longer an escort, but we still keep in contact. So there are some classy people out there, its just a matter of finding at least one with in reasonable distance. Its too bad that great people like Scott Alder and Jesse Dane are so far away. A person can get a real sense about what both of these men are like, just by the way they post things on the board here, and I have no doubt at all that they along with others who post here, know how to treat clients.
