Barrett Long---and a little fun with rulers

I should clarify right away that I haven't *met* Barrett personally. But as I'm always impressed by well-endowed men, I paid close attention to him in Falcon's *Longshot*. I thought, Whoaaa! Significantly bigger than anyone else in his scenes--looks like a huge challenge to fit anywhere.

I was intrigued to see that he does escort in CA--and then he did me a kind of service. I measured one I had (same brand, same juice)--and where his equipment ends is...about 8.5 inches. Not 12, not 11, not 10, but a little under 9. Even allowing for other factors (he hadn't attained his very fullest erection, bla bla)--still, not more than 9.

This accords with the reality I understand.

Not to detract in any way from Barrett--that's still enormous, rare, and more than a little intimidating. But it does put publicity in context--maybe there are men with 10, 11, 12 inches--but they're exceedingly rare.

I recall that many years ago, before Chad Hunt had moved to New York (he was in Ohio), he advertised as an escort and claimed 9 inches. And that I might believe--but not the 11 that studios have claimed for him recently. Unlike hair and nails, that part doesn't keep growing--he hasn't picked up two inches in eight years (wouldn't it be fun if we could?)...

So--as others have suggested--the next time someone idly claims to have eleven inches, feel free to say, "It's very nice--but ELEVEN INCHES? I think not..."

A friend of mine who did porn back in the early 1990's said "the camera adds two inches". Shaving helps add that optical extra inch or two as well. He was listed as having 8.5" and having seen his equipment it was no where near that, 7" maybe. Quite right. As I've pointed out on this subject before, a 9"incher is huge and rare. Beyond that size is rarer still.

In fact size is relative, and the no. of inches we assign matters less than a comparison to the norm.

Almost all studies whose results are available on the net say that the average is 5-6".

Each inch additional is, in fact, a very noticeable difference.

So 7" is a good sized one, 7.5 very large, 8" is really big, etc. I've hired a number of pornstars (and non-porn stars), and the biggest have seen in the 8-8.5 range, although the studios list them with all sorts of fanciful numbers.

Nevertheless, the 8" cock is a whopper and lots of fun, whatever you call it.

It's rare to see a photo where a pornstar gives you a photo with something you can compare exactly as you did for Barrett. But it's fun when they do. I would have to say that a substantial percentage of the working guys I have hired do the "optical inch" shave. A good 90% or more in my experience.

Yeah, you are right. It is an illusion/fantasy, something pepople tend to forget about real movies and porn.

 

My friend is about 5'7" and very well built so he looks huge on camera. Porn productions follow many of the trade secrets of regular movies to maintain the illusions.
