Best Sites to Seek Out Escorts/Successful/Unsuccessful Results??

For five years now and thousands of dollars less, I have principally used certain sites to get the men that I desired. This site and http://www.rentboy.com have by far yielded the best results.

 

I've used http://www.men4rentnow.com and http://www.meetlocalmen.com but have received abysmal service from the 'scorts who advertise there. By far the worst has been the former site mentioned previously.

 

What sites do you primarily use? Have the guys rendered choice service to you? Begin writing, men!!!!!

Axiom, I posted much of the following a while ago in answer to an inquiry from PWIT:

 

I am very close to an escort located in the Midwest. I help him manage his listings, among other things, so I can give you a picture of his situation.

 

First, he's on nearly all the free-to-be-listed sites. Second, the only pay-to-be-listed site he's on is men4rentnow. He's considered being listed on rentboy (there's only one escort in our city listed on that site now), with the thought of attracting attention from clients who travel here from the larger cities where those clients are used to using rentboy - he may try that this Summer. Third, meetlocalmen, IMHO, from a client's perspective, is mostly worthless - there's more deadwood there than in a petrified forest.

 

That said, here's a rough breakdown of where his client inquiries come from (other than from his Hooboy reviews, which of course are currently unavailable):

Totally agree that men4rentnow is the best right now - of course daddysreview is destined to regain top spot. As with all sites, you have to make some personal contact, a phone call or two, and check your gut.

From a clients point of view, rentboy.com is the best. It charges a monthly fee, so it is always current. If the escorts stops paying his ad goes off. Men4rentnow is second best. But often the guys give no phone number or email address. So you sent an email through the site which does not allow you to send a message. Usually you get no response, or it comes several days later, after you have made other arrangements. If you do use men4rentnow, at least give a phone number or save your money.

Men4rentnow doesn't allow escorts to post any url's in the ad body. The email function is to the right but it doesn't really allow you room to communicate your interests etc to the escort you're interested in. I actually find men4rentnow.com to be the biggest pain in the ass. I pay 80 a month for my advertising there but I don't get any links to my other info spots or a larger ad body just picture rotation and a higher placement in search results. I may abandon menforrent entirely once I leave Chicago and stick with rentboy it just depends on client response. Currently my breakdown is fairly similar to that above.

I've actually had some luck with AmericanMale.net. You do have to be careful with any of 'em, but there are some for real people on there.

The problem with American Male is that it is not current. Many of the guys have quit or moved and will not respond.

.......PRECISELY! Many of the guys who are in San Francisco and escorted formerly are still listed. I think I emailed the webmaster some time ago only to get NO response!!!

 

This was the first site that I consulted almost daily back in 2001; I was in awe at the fact that an entire website contained so many handsome and stunning men all in one place.

Men4Rentnow has some deadwood too. If there is no contact info its a dead ad - why don't they just take it down rather than delete the contact info. Its not like they don't have enough listings. The other thing I don't like about them is the guys can be listed under 3 or 4 cities and sometimes it isn't real obvious where they actually are at any given time. When I'm in NY I could care less about the guys who visit NY now and then, unless they are there NOW - it is Men4RentNOW. On the more popular cities as many as 60% of the ads are useless and having to wade through all that is just a waste of time. Rentboy is by far the best.

I checked this morning to see what's going on in the world I work in and I was so excited to see this post and thread.

 

When a client goes looking for an escort, it' hard to know where to find him.

When I was first putting up my listings as an escort, there were TONS of places. I did not know which way to turn. So I chose a few pay sites, listed in all the free ones and crossed my fingers.

 

Now that I am on another road and trying to help the industry that treat me so good, I can safely say the owners of RentBoy.com have put alot of effort into creating a site that works for everyone.

 

One of our taglines says, "Where the newest technology meets the oldest profession." You may not have any idea how seriously they take that. We have a fabulous team of web architects that work tirelessly in the office to fix things quickly. (I don't know how they do it.)

 

Over the years, Tom Weise and Mr. Davids have worked very hard to make sure that the site stays current and that things are given back to the escort and client community through things like events.

It's easy for me to just jump in now at work when everything is going so well and help guide it just a bit further.

(Damn, it would sound like I am sucking up, but I wanted to thank the people that make all the sites we look at "tick" and it' only natural to start with the ones I have to talk to everyday!) *wink*

 

I try to keep the public eye as my own too, so this was a treat to hear such positive feedback about the site that I spend so much time with now.

Speaking from the administration side, I know the owner of Men4RentNow too and he takes great pride in what he does. He's a good guy.

 

...and believe it or not, I just saw AmericanMaleEscort's webmaster active in the community too with a new ad right at the top of the new issue in one of the webmaster magazines.

 

I am sure I speak for all the providers and webmasters of escort listings sites when I say, "We are glad to be doing it and seriously thank you for your support."

 

I was so glad to see so many users happy with the RentBoy.com site and commenting to others.
