Green dot (if that's what it's called) is nothing more than a prepaid credit card available at Walgreen's and other stores. It's probably intended to be used by people who need a credit card but can't control their spending. (An irresponsible college kid comes to mind). I suspect the cards can also be obtained somewhat anonymously, but not sure how that's done.

 

But your subject line tells it all. A deposit to meet? NFW!!
